Favourite yummy thing to treat yourself to

Mine are hands down cupcakes, I never really had a sweet tooth upto about a year ago when I started baking rice krispie buns (hence the username) to give out to homeless people. Then I also sampled cupcakes and got hooked, though I generally only treat myself once a fortnight.

What is your favourite thing to treat yourself to?

Morrisons cream muffins
Morrisons jam doughnuts
Jam roly poly
M&S chocolate shortbread

I've got such a sweet tooth lately, need to rein things in a bit!

Fresh scones with jam and clotted cream.... yummm

Also a custard vanilla slice, fresh cream apple turnover and hazelnut chocolate.

Dulce de leche out the jar. Toasted hot cross buns slathered in butter. Rice pudding.Cupcakes. Carrot cake smothered with thick layer of cream cheese buttercream. Ripple bars. Poutine (chips cheese and gravy if I'm making at home) Heinz tomato soup with a bit of cream and buttered toast. Chicken supernoodles. Curry and a lager. Tex mex and a lager. Blush rather a lot.

My go-to is a quorn chicken burger in a white tortilla wrap with a bit of salad and loads of mayo.

For dessert, a galaxy salted caramel cake bar.

Loads!
But this past Sunday had a big plate of Biryani after being out all day and it felt like big hug.

Oh gosh yes to peanuts.
DP has a peanut allergy so I can’t have them in the house. It’s the weirdest thing how much I now crave them when I’m sure I never cared much for them before we lived together. Whenever I have a takeaway at someone else’s house I always want pad Thai just for the peanuts 😂

@HumunaHey

Marks and Spencers Victoria sponge "muffin". It's basically a lovely bit of Victoria sponge - lovely jam inside and a good dollop of butter cream on top. It's only £1 and I can never resist getting one.
They are soooooo good!

Sainsbury’s jam doughnuts.
Not Tesco as they’ve changed them recently and ruined them

itwasntaparty · 09/02/2022 14:31

M&S black pepper roasted cashews
Dry roasted peanuts
Salami
Tangfastics

Can't be trusted around any of them.

PrawnDrench · 10/02/2022 15:47

@ouch321 Celery Xmas Smile

NannyGythaOgg · 10/02/2022 16:28

Loads of these, mostly savoury although the 'thing' for salted sweet things has reignited my sweet tooth somewhat.

My go to when I'm hungry and can't be bothered is Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodle with an ounce of grated mature cheddar, extra soy sauce and a splash of tomato ketchup.

Total crap and totally addictive

BuddhaForMary · 10/02/2022 16:36

Lidl's honey roasted cashews and peanuts.

Heavily loaded home made nachos. Food of the gods.

BuddhaForMary · 10/02/2022 16:38

Oh and the morrisons fresh croissants with the jam and creme patisserie inside.. Mmm

ScrambledSmegs · 10/02/2022 16:41

White sourdough from our local fancy bakery, toasted, with butter and my orange and grapefruit marmalade.

Pink grapefruit gin with fevertree tonic and a slice of grapefruit

Grapefruit drizzle cake

Half a grapefruit

Basically give me a grapefruit and I'll love you forever.

MangoLipstick · 10/02/2022 16:46

Warm chocolate fudge cake that goes gooey with vanilla ice cream

Warm apple pie , some caramel melted on top & vanilla ice cream

Fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, Nutella, strawberries, banana, pecan nuts, abit of whipped cream

Not had any of those delicious things in ages! I think I’m due at least one of them this weekend!

PrawnDrench · 10/02/2022 16:48

Now I want a bucket of KFC chicken with mashed potato and copious amounts of coleslaw or just drenched in gravy. Ooh and Terry’s chocolate orange afterwards. I haven’t any of that for ages!

YogaLite · 10/02/2022 17:23

Sainsbury's multiseed sourdough pave with butter yummy!

LoveFall · 10/02/2022 17:27

Stir fried peas shots with garlic. Dau Mui.

That lovely, fresh green umami flavour.

ILoveAllRainbowsx · 10/02/2022 17:31

M&S chocolate eclairs (the 4 packs, not the 2 packs).

Kenneldogsrock · 10/02/2022 17:35

Egg custards
Dairy milk daim chocolate
They just make me feel so much better

bendmeoverbackwards · 10/02/2022 17:43

I am just munching through a pack of Waitrose Onion Rings. Just as delicious as they were when I was a child in the 80s!

MintyGreenDream · 10/02/2022 18:01

Right now it's Gino d'Campo lasagne. Was reduced in asda and it was bloody delicious to be fair, never tried that range before
