What can you buy for £200k near you?

Where we are it'll buy a one bed flat

We can move anywhere in the UK, and it's got me thinking.

Is anywhere nice where it's possible to buy a house for that?

I am open to anything but ideally need 3 beds

I'm in York. You'd get a 1 bedroom flat in a nice area, or a 2 bedroom terrace in a not so nice area. Another £10k and you could stay in the same area but get an additional bedroom.

Our 3/4 bed semi is worth about that, NE Scotland.

You can buy a decent house in Yeovil for 200k. It's really not as bad as people say, although the town centre has suffered during covid.

My sister lives here (place not house) and it’s lovely

South Wales between Cardiff & Swansea M4 corridor is near the sea, £200k will get you a a nice area 3/4 bed possibly detached .
