I've just had superb customer service after contacting M and S online this morning. It was all dealt with and I'd been given a gift card by lunchtime.

Which companies have give you really great service recently ?

Cossatto. Bought by many. Clarks. Claire's accessories.

Definitely not m&s! I had terrible trouble with an order with them recently where they kept sending the wrong thing!

AO - we've recently moved house and have bought 3 different things from them . Their delivery people are polite and efficient, the tracking system means you know exactly when they'll arrive.
We ordered a fridge freezer and the delivery was delayed so they gave me a discount voucher. When it did arrive it had a tiny dent in the door . The delivery guy photographed it and immediately sent a report to whoever. Within 10 minutes of their departure I had a phone call offering me compensation of £120 , which was credited to my card that day. Not bad on a £500 fridge!

Bought by Many when chasing up a pet insurance claim, really helpful and fantastic service.

sleaf · 28/01/2022 15:26

Another vote for AO.

girlmom21 · 28/01/2022 15:27

Moonpig were fantastic when I wanted to stop a delivery. I was happy to lose the money but they refunded me as well as cancelling the dispatched last second.

Disney. I don’t know how he did it, but DH somehow signed us up to the Disney station three times, paying annually once and setting up two monthly direct debits. They got everything cancelled, refunded and sorted out in about two minutes.

I haven’t needed to use AO since last year but every time I have used them, I’ve been very impressed.

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 28/01/2022 15:46

Another vote for AO.

BigYellowHat · 28/01/2022 15:52

B&Q are always fantastic. They never quibble over returns and bend over backwards to help. The staff in store always seem to take the time to help and explain about the different products and the pros and cons of different items if you’re struggling to choose between two similar items.

TyrannysaurusXXrightshoarder · 28/01/2022 15:54

Dyson - have always been excellent when I’ve needed to use them. My Dyson cordless has had so many parts replaced under the warranty for even the smallest issue it’s like Trigger’s Broom.
Luscombe Drinks - one box of drinks partly broken by the courier Luscombe replaced the whole order free of charge and told me to keep the unbroken bottles from the original order
Best of British Beer - delivered to wrong address, totally my fault, collected and redelivered free of charge because ‘it’s Christmas!’
HayPigs - delivered wrong item, told me to keep it with their compliments and they sent the correct by next day

Fireworksatforty · 28/01/2022 15:56

AO have always been brilliant. We always buy appliances from them.

7 months for a £400 refund on items that they charged for but they couldn't deliver. Endless emails calls etc

4 class- 6 emails, ha dot scan in proof of posting twice for another item they claim they didnt receive back- deposit Royal Mail saying that they did. 28 days wait for a refund is their standard apparently.

LoveMae · 28/01/2022 16:46

Ocado, definitely

Shopaholic100 · 28/01/2022 16:51

Amazon is brilliant, really customer focused Btw I don’t work for them). Instant refunds compared to Swarovski who seemed to think 1 month to get a refund was normal 😬.

cdba88 · 28/01/2022 17:29

I always find Superdrug staff really friendly and helpful

Gilead · 28/01/2022 17:32

I’ve always found Lakeland to be fabulous.
