It something that people that are very bored currently play because it's 'trendy'. Some even send whatsapp messages saying they managed to get in 2 moves or whatever.

It's just one word a day so what a bore fest waiting each day for your one word puzzle with batted breath! Such exciting lives some lead

I enjoy a daily wordle, when I remember. It's a five minute distraction from all the other stuff I've got going on and it focuses the mind. Let's hear about your exciting life then?

I like Byrdle which is music themed. Includes proper nouns like composers too. I'm pleasantly surprised how much music/church vocab I still have...
