Just wondering how many others have managed to avoid it. My husband had it before Christmas and I was doing daily LFTs / had a PCR but didn’t catch it somehow, not really sure how as we weren’t really distancing

My parents and my in laws have all stayed clear. Despite in laws who are both 70 insisting on still going out and shopping etc when things were bad first time round. My DF actually worked at one of the testing centres for 18 months and still not had it and my DM worked as a care assistant in a home where they lost 12 residents.

Must be immune!

Not had it either although 2 new colleagues had it and I was sat with them. I am triple vac though, as is DH, and although not officially CEV, we could have probably asked for it. Work in retail and have done all the way through.

I don't believe I have had it, nor has DW or our two adult sons.
I know dozens of people who have had it and knew two people who died of it.
It's possible we've had it asymptomatically?

I haven’t either. Been in the office 4 days a week throughout pandemic, been to London for events with thousands of people, recently spent two days working about 2 meters from someone who tested positive later on one of those days and still not caught it. It’ll have to happen soon - Centerparcs pool will be the next test!

Nope not me or my kids
two at school one working - so far we are all healthy

ExtremelyDetermined · 15/01/2022 11:01

No one in my household has had it and we've worked outside the home, DCs been at school whenever its been open. Minimal public transport use and fairly low risk work environments too though. All fully jabbed.

SGBK4682 · 15/01/2022 11:10

None of us have. I work in a school and many colleagues and children have had it, especially in the past two months. One of my kids has been either at school or college and a work placement, plus mixes with her friends socially. Other has worked in hospitality and regularly uses public transport, and had been to large scale events a few times. Dh has less contact as he works from home.

We are careful but not hermits. All fully vaccinated except older dc who hasn't yet had the booster (though is now entitled).

TonTonMacoute · 15/01/2022 11:26

None of my family have had it, but we live rurally and have hardly been out the last 2 years!

Only person likely to have caught it is DS, who was at university, but so far as he knows he never did.

OhWhyNot · 15/01/2022 13:01

Me

Been around it at work (staff and patients) didn’t always have enough PPE and not social distancing all the time (couldn’t)

Been in close contact with people (socially) and so has ds all his friends apart from one have had it and he was as often in close contact

How I don’t know. I may have very early on before testing but those antibodies would have worn off

Fully vaccinated and had booster but still surprised
