Do YOU remember this perfume (ca. 2005)?!

Something about not being able to travel much over the past couple of years has made me seek escapism through... perfume! I've gone mad for it. I've got together quite a little collection now and am missing one I used to have, but I can't remember the name of it.

The facts:
I bought it in about 2004/5.
It wasn't expensive, just an impulse buy somewhere like Superdrug.
It had a red glass bottle, like a lopsided/squashed cube (?).
I'm no olfactory expert, but something deep in the mix reminded me of chocolate.

??????????

I have trawled the internet, including Fragrantica, looking for clues, but so far drew a blank and I wondered if anyone here could help!

"that's why all along, I haven't mentioned that I think the name has an S or a Z in it (or both) and that it conveyed a sort of posh/polite way of saying dirty slag."

It would be so funny if someone got it from that description!

SecretKeeper1 · 06/12/2021 14:20

@LagneyandCasey

What would Dirty Slag smell like? Xmas Grin
Stale fags, cheap cider and jizz?

@Justilou1

Do you remember if the bottle was transparent red or opaque? Maybe the glass was clear with red going a third or halfway up? Maybe the juice was red or the name was red?
it was transparent red, quite a dark red (I think!!!!!!). The liquid wasn't coloured. The glass didn't change colour at all, just the same colour all over. Not frosted or owt. Come to think of it, no graphics or obvious lettering...

No, it didn't have a fancy top hat like that. Unless it did and I lost it! But I don't remember any kind of top to it.

Eau de Boswell?

One of the ones I posted looks just like the drawing, but doesn't match the name clues hmmm
I'd take the name clues with a BIG pinch of salt! It probably has no S or Z in it and does not mean dirty slag in any way shape or form.

I just think the name was vaguely seductive, but that might be that I'm mixing up the name with my purposes when spritzing my wrists with it!!!

If you mean that Valentino bottle, I'm sorry, but that means my drawing is even more misleading than I feared. If you imagine an aerial view, it's a squat little bottle with (I think) four even corners, possibly rounded corners. It doesn't have a lopsided shape at all. I shouldn't have said "squashed" earlier! I meant it wasn't really a cube, or at least, it's the sort of cube you might make with Play-Doh on a hot day.

Shit, I'd never have started this thread if I'd realised how many red perfume bottles there are in the world. I thought I was proper narrowing it down!

I daren't go on Superdrug's FB page as (a) I don't have a FB account and (b) I can't swear I actually bought it in Superdrug... and this thread is weird enough 🙃
