So they open at 0600 tomorrow. How long do you think we'll be stuck in a queue to get one. And will all the good ones be gone by the time we do

It's bizarre how the app is working straight away. I've triple checked my emails, but yep, slots definitely booked. In fairness, last year it took me over 2 hours, yet people I knew logged on after me and got straight through.

Well after my whinging earlier I’m all done - so definitely better than last year

I'm on the app and was 43,000 at 5.45am and still waiting 😤 if I don't get a slot I'll be doing my Christmas shopping at Aldi!

I think the trick is to log on after the release time, not before!

I agree it isn't fair. Fingers crossed for those waiting.

It's the same inconsistencies every year with people getting straight in versus queues for hours. The queue number is an improvement though.

I logged on at 5:45 and was 66000 ish, now 34000ish with 34 min wait. I’m not holding out too much hope as I can only have a delivery on 23rd as I don’t get back from holiday till late on 22nd (yeah I know my diamond shoes are too tight 😂)

Really not pleased that they said 6am but the queue started before that! Usually the website refreshes at 6am when the slots are released and the queue starts at that point. Also totally unfair that some people aren’t having to queue! 😡

I was on early at 17000 in the queue and even though it said over an hour i got in 10 minutes ago and checked out . Phew!

3 minute!! Please be a slot on the 23rd!!!!!!
I do agree that the slot number is a good addition to previous years, they need to stop slots showing an hour before official time though!

Straight in on the app and booked a pre and post Christmas slot. No wait. So strange it's different everywhere. Thank you for the reminder though!

My husband and I both logged on at 5.55am. I got put straight into a queue at 69000. He got on and booked a slot straight away! It doesn't make any sense!

I went on at 6am (when my alarm went off), I left the app open before I went asleep so I would remember and got a slot straight away.

I logged on at 5.57am and got a slot easily!

Just got in from being 35,000 and there were lots of slots available.

You need to try Asda. My Xmas shop has been booked for weeks. No sitting in queues ar 5am either. Just booked it when I got the email that it was open for booking.

Ooo. There's also the old trick of the 2 hr release. So if the customer doesn't check out after 2 hrs, the slot goes back into the system. Going by the release times on here, that could be 0540 released at 740am even 730?

I was 9000, it said an hour plus wait at 6am but I'm done and dusted already, the wait time went down really quickly. Checked out with a couple of items and booked my slot for the week before too.

All done, got a slot on the 23rd. Loads of choice left. Good luck everyone!

The midnight thing was ridiculous! Need to actually plan what I need. Is it weird I enjoy doing this particular shop? 😂

I tend to do my shop and then check out for the furthest date I can, a few days before the slots go live. Then, when the slots open, I just move my order to a Christmas slot.

It doesn't bother me that Sainsbury's is later; nobody's going before you, as that's how it is for everyone! I do have an Asda slot already booked as back up, mind you. I've never had a problem getting the slot I need with Sainsbury's, however, so not sure why I did that!
