So they open at 0600 tomorrow. How long do you think we'll be stuck in a queue to get one. And will all the good ones be gone by the time we do

I'm setting my alarm for 0530 I think 🤔

Done. Plenty of Christmas Eve slots. Less of the 23rd in my area. Joined the queue at dead on 6am- checked out 7.20am.

If I’m using the app and I leave it to come on mumsnet, will it keep my place or do I have to kee it open on the app continuously?

You can leave and come back in

139000 in the queue and have to leave for school run and work at 8am. Will stay in queue and hope I don’t miss the slot when driving!

I can't get rid of my place on the app, having done my shop on the website, every time I open the app queue is still going down, this is iPad.

Closest I could get was 22nd. Not very impressed, considering we have their annual delivery option.

I'm disabled and this will make it a bit difficult.

Got in about 15 minutes ago on the browser, got evening of 23rd, as I wanted.
Now I can't get out of the queue on the app, even after closing it!

Phone app is definitely the way to go. Feel for all of you still waiting. It took me 2 hours last year, it was ridiculous.

On the laptop I was place 21444 but was able to log straight on with the app and book a slot for 23rd. I'm pleased but not very fair for those in the queue!

Just done mine could only get 21st, would have liked 22/23rd.

Managed to get 23 December which is great, just checked out queued since 05.57

For me, the browser was much quicker than the app!

Remember the order is packed from your local store not from a warehouse so it may be your store is now booked for the 23rd

Depends on your area, shops in their locality might still have space but wherever your delivery shops come from don't

Some can get Christmas Eve but I don't think that is ever available from my store.

Finally got on and got 21st. I'm fine with it as any later and things tend to go out of stock.

@Ryannah have you checked the flexi slots, rather than specific hour ones? I've just looked on mine & there are some of those, but not the hour ones, left on 23rd in my area

It’s got to vary by location hasn’t it? I don’t live near a big city, we’re semi rural. I set alarm for 6.05 so it went off as I boiled the kettle, slot on 23rd and a week before, booked before I’d even made my cup of tea! I was on the app.

I logged on at 5:50 using the app and got a slot straight away. But I'm worried now - someone upthread said there were Christmas Day slots which obviously isn't right. I've got the 24th - but my store has never delivered on that day before so I really hope it's not a mistake. I've got the confirmation email but ...

I’ve just done that and managed to switch to 23rd! The one hour slots were all booked but the flexi slots were available.

22nd 7-8 pm so pretty good. Fab. Thanks for the reminder. 😄

Got both my weekly slots and one for 22nd.

And now I can relax 😁

As a online picker for another store, these numbers are making me look forward to working Christmas week, 2am starts here we come 😬

I would advise you all not to book all essentials for your Christmas delivery, things like stuffing, apple sauce, cranberry sauce sold out wayyyy earlier than Christmas week last year.
