Some very interesting traffic heading to Scotland for Cop 26.

PRES101 from Aerolinas Argentinas appears to be about to land at Prestwick.

Private jet LNX29KG also en route to Glasgow.

Did SAM46 land? It's gone a bit odd on my flightradar, seems to be stuck over broxburn.
But I can see the CDG flight has been allowed out if the stack now.

FWIW looking at some of the erratic traces it looks like around the airport itself the commercial tracker apps might have a few holes in their coverage.

I am amazed that you can follow the US president's plane online. Surely that makes him a massive target. I know they try to disguise him and all, but it slightly blows my mind that we can just look online and with a bit of knowledge we can work out exactly where in the world he is.

I had a go at answering that a few pages back..just to recap..

1. His schedule is (mostly) public knowledge…everybody at the airport and many beyond will have known his ETA.
2. When AF1 is cruising at 30,000 feet or more in controlled /monitored airspace there’s no real threat from the bad guys/girls.
3. On take-off/approach/taxi AF1 is visible to all and sundry using mark 1 eyeball (see pics upthread) so blocking virtual tracking is pointless.
4. There will probably have been measures taken on the ground and there will probably been measures/equipment on board to reduce vulnerability to any threats…

There's a police air service plane circling around more or less above my house at the moment.

There was an RAF helicopter too for a while but it seems to be flying along above the M8 towards Glasgow now.

I figured out the police plane and RAF helicopter going in circles over West Edinburgh had to do with Biden, but I think they’re probably shadowing his motorcade…

I think so but the plane seems to be all over the shop!

I thought 'they' had decided against a convoy due to traffic issues in Glasgow? Might be wrong!

The helicopter flew directly to west Edinburgh but is following the M8 route back. Biden’s in the car.

I may be wrong I’m not convinced they’d put POTUS on a Puma…but I’d guess it being there has something to do with his travel arrangements..

He definitely isn't on that. It didn't land at Edinburgh.

Looks like he is arriving by motorcade, Clyde 1 have tweeted pictures of about 40 vehicles leaving Edinburgh Airport.

It’s way too windy in Glasgow to land at the secc, is my guess…….
I’m watching rainbow warrior with interest on the Clyde.

Re the earlier comment on helicopters at Aberdeen, my dh is on one now and about to depart. We used to live in the flight path for the heliport so could wave to daddy, but we moved away (where it's so much quieter) and have to watch on flightradar now.

Pretty daft to land in Edinburgh and not Glasgow if travelling by road. Into Glasgow airport and then 10 minutes in a car tops.

We need to move over to the Traffic Scotland M8 cameras now then…. (Thank you to Mr Williamshatnershorses for that suggestion🤣)
