What are you having for Dinner tonight?

I have just got back from my second to last radiotherapy and ready to drop! Think I am just going to make pasta and sauce tonight.

Prawn and chorizo not parent!

I put leftover roast beef in the slow cooker with some beef stock and onions, it was meltingly soft when I served it in giant yorkies.

Kid unwell so for dinner made him pasta with homemade tomato sauce with pecorino, with a zucchini fritti (or whatever it’s called). Dessert will be Nightnurse.

I changed my mind and ended up having a double big mac after the cinema, and then a bowl of cinnamon churros cereal!

I noticed it because I'm making one of the other recipes on there for dinner tonight - roast cauliflower and leeks with baked feta and a green tahini sauce, eaten in flatbreads. Veggie BIL coming over for dinner so we will have that and some balsamic roasted peppers as well, and a free-form apple tart for dessert made with jus-rol pastry from the corner shop as I don't have time to make from scratch today!

I have chicken breasts to use up tonight. It's v simple but tasty

I'll do some roast veg on the side - I have peppers & courgettes & mushrooms

Burnt aubergine chilli with rice and sides of leftover roast chicken and salad. It's a bbc good food recipe and once you get your head round setting fire to an aubergine it's a great tea, our teenagers all love it. Don't usually have chicken with it but it's leftover so might as well be used up.

I’d love red cabbage but can’t be bothered to go and buy some.

Slow cooker honey mustard chicken with Tagliatelle. This is a new meal for us, as we are trying new slow cooker meals as little one gets very tired as he doesn't nap anymore and gets over tired, so hopefully haven't it ready a few times a week will help with this.

Tonight is a "chicken and plenty of veg" soup. Currently suffering through COVID so hoping it will give me some nutrients and energy.

Will serve with those mini dinner rolls you heat up in the oven covered in heaps of salted butter

Never mind the whole pan went in the sodding bin.

Chicken breast wrapped in cheese and bacon, potato wedges, sweetcorn and peas. Pineapple for after for my pigs of children.

We have a visitor and supposed to be going out for a meal, but the road from ours into town has flooded. Its terrible. So im off the other way to get a chinese.

Minced beef hotpot, cabbage & green beans and gravy.

We had a huge lunch - Mcdonalds. So not might have a sandwich later.

Salmon with new potatoes and spinach in butter. The cat will be happy with us.

My boys have just asked for cod and chips from the fish and chip shop. Easy supper for us - except I'll have to go out in the cold and dark to get it!

Made the mistake of opening a four pack of cherry/almond mince pies this afternoon....that was dinner done.... (Let's not talk about the pack of percy pigs either....)

I'm having an off week....

@Creepypastard where did you buy those cherry almond mince pies please?! They sound to die for!

@TrussOnABus Waitrose, they just might be to die for (they're so nice!). Just make sure someone's with you to share when you open, all I'm saying...!
