We are going on a boat on the Norfolk Broads for a week. DS will be away from his PlayStation for the entire time. Send thoughts and prayers - and gin!

In all seriousness, he will have some access to technology and lots of other things to do. Trip has been postponed 4 times and due to illness/Covid we haven’t had a holiday since 2018 so just being away will be good.
@itsgettingwierd I've been a few times Jan/Feb but been quite lucky. Met a couple on arrival a few years ago who said it had poured with rain for two weeks prior to our arrival.
Never been in October but prepared for it to be cool at night but still hoping for sun in the day time.
Our half term is the week after next though so got another full week to get through.
Oh yes - the rain 🙈

I lived there many years but I never got use to the sudden rains and flash floods that occasionally arrived.

But yes warm days and cool nights is pretty much what you'd get this time of year as the norm.
