I can never finish a big mac meal, I do have two shakes with it though as I pinch the one from the dogs happy meal

The dog?!

BlueberrySugar · 22/09/2021 22:33

@ArrrMeHearties

Ds used to have either a cheeseburger or a chicken nugget happy meal but now has a cheeseburger happy meal and a side of nuggets. He's a 6yo bean pole thats a bottomless pit Grin I usually have a large big mac meal and an irn bru with some of the nuggets that ds got (get a box of 9) Ddog gets a cheeseburger and some of our fries and one nugget so ds and I have 4 each
You're doing it wrong! The side has to be the burger and the happy meal the nuggets. Works out a lot cheaper
PurpleDaisies · 22/09/2021 22:34

This is Mumsnet, so the right answer is a single chip between one family of 4...

It’s a problem with two solutions:
X = 1/4 of a chip
or
X = 15 burgers, 17portions of chips, 150chicken nuggets and 12McFlurries each.

ArrrMeHearties · 22/09/2021 22:42

blueberrysugar I have been clearly doing it wrong. Might treat him to some at the weekend for "research purposes" 😂 wonder if burger King is similar price wise for the same hack? I do like burger kings chips more right enough sorry for hijacking a mcds thread talking about burger king

Absolutely!

I’m stuffed after a regular Big Mac meal, though I am fond of those mozzarella dip things though I can never finish it all off

BillyAndTheSillies · 22/09/2021 23:25

I miss my old McDonald's order.
Breakfast triple sausage McMuffin, two hash browns, sausage bagel and a large cappuccino.

Anything after breakfast was always large quarter pounder meal - or a big tasty meal if it was on. Three selects and mozzarella melters.

Had a gastric sleeve last year, haven't touched McDonald's since. And still miss it, but do genuinely feel better for not having it three or four times a week any more.

MN is suddenly overrun by fat pigs.I thought this site was for peopleConfused
That's pretty offensive. And how do you know all the posters on this thread are fat? Most haven't mentioned size or weight.
RickOShay · 23/09/2021 07:43

Agree @Bloodybridget
Enjoying a McDonalds does not make one a fat pig.

Your manners leave something to be desired @Sommernacht89

Dentistlakes · 23/09/2021 07:46

Love a Macdonald’s! My favourite is a large McChicken sandwich meal. I always feel I could eat it again when I have finished but never tried. I reckon I could eat at least 2, maybe a third at a push but I would probably make myself ill!

I once went in to a McDonald’s with my dog when it was snowing, ordered my meal and then asked for a cup of tea with some ice in it.

They were like WTF.

I said well duuuh, it’s for my DOG obviously 🙄 as if ordering a maccys for a dog is a totally standard occurrence.

maggienolia · 23/09/2021 07:56

No McDonald's near here but would happily jump in my time machine for a BK Mushroom double swiss and a side of onion rings.
If only.

Sommernacht89 · 23/09/2021 07:59

I find it offensive when people brag about how much fat they can eat.you wouldnt think,it was just a year since thousands of people died of Covid,mostly with underlaying issues.eg being obese.you eat loads of crap,you feel crap.this thread is typical;for fat people like to tell themselves stories that it is perfectly ok to be fat/obese.

I’m not sure how you know everyone’s weight, I go to McDonald’s once every few months. A calorific meal on a background of a healthy diet isn’t suddenly going to make me catch obesity.
juneybean · 23/09/2021 08:12

Big Mac Meal
Toffee Latte or Chocolate Milkshake
10 nugs
dip
and I wouldn't say no to a doughnut

RickOShay · 23/09/2021 08:13

@Sommernacht89 being fat is not offensive. People struggle with their weight for a lot of different reasons, and one of them is people like you.

Omg the BK double mushroom Swiss, now that was a burger
frenchiemummy92 · 23/09/2021 08:58

@Sommernacht89 actually I've lost 6 stone so if I want to treat myself to McDonald's I will or what ever else I'd like.

You realise there is no bad food right? Everything is about moderation and what you eat the rest of the week.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 23/09/2021 08:58

I normally order large nuggets meal and a double cheeseburger, mozzarella sticks if they have them. Mcflurry for dessert.

I'm not fat or obese. I find boring virtue signalling like yours offensive.

Really? It is some randomer on the internet who tells you that being fat isn't a great idea that causes you to be fat?

I'd have thought that if it were to be a randomer on the internet who makes you fat, it is much more likely to be people like the OP who are encouraging you to eat thousands of calories of toxic food and saying that is perfectly fine, funny even, no?

There really is such thing as a bad food. Where did you get the idea there isn't?

Not single meal needs to be nutritionally balanced and healthy. That’s obviously what that posted was saying.

frenchiemummy92 · 23/09/2021 09:05

@hamstersarse 🤦🏻‍♀️ no there isn't.

Everything is about moderation.

Bet you were part of the be kind brigade a year or so ago 🙄.
