I'm guessing with the steps in photo 1 and the fact that the rest of the house seems to be designed for partying, the new baby has forced a change of plan?

Gosh. That's an acquired (at HomeSense) taste.

Moonflower12 · 17/09/2021 23:04

@Morph2lcfc

I think the Vardy's live in Rutland. I'm sure it's Langham.

userlotsanumbers · 17/09/2021 23:11

All the money. None of the taste.

And why do all furniture staging companies use those chairs with the lions on the back?

DD's just said "Why have the chairs got doorknockers on the back?"

gibletjane · 18/09/2021 00:19

It's horrible, the white stairs, the staircase, the decor

gibletjane · 18/09/2021 00:22

and I fucking hate those chairs

I thought they lived in Lincolnshire, I occasionally see her Instagram and I have a vague memory of her mentioning places there

She could have moved of course

NotMaryWhitehouse · 18/09/2021 05:36

It looks like Robert California might have an orgy there......

Bluntness100 · 18/09/2021 07:08

Blimey some of the folks slagging it off should look around at their own homes, 😂

True, the actual house is nice. The decor is not! My house is in a permanent state of disrepair but I’m not at all envious of the sea of beige/brown crushed velvet, enough booze to sink a ship or the ‘Chanel’ picture! 😅
SunShinesBrightly · 18/09/2021 07:23

According to ‘Hello’ They live in Cheshire.
House looks too grey to be the one in the OP.

It’s a style replicated a million times so the house could belong to anyone.

I'd still rather live here in my slightly tatty house. I really would find that house quite depressing.

OP posts:
picklemewalnuts · 18/09/2021 07:41

It's a bit oppressive.

Also, the baby looks like an afterthought in that nursery. The cot's stuck away in a corner.

CaptainMyCaptain · 18/09/2021 07:45

I almost didn't get past the Juice Bar. Who has a Juice Bar in their house? Footballers obviously.

Stasiland · 18/09/2021 07:53

Why do people with so much money have no taste ? Was doing a bit of london property porn a few days ago and this kind of bland but blingy decor seems to be in fashion. Those awful multi-coloured paintings in the bedroom Shock No random bits and pieces that you pick up on your travels which personalise your house, it's all so matchy matchy..

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/09/2021 07:54

How does one clean the 3D flower wall effect? That would be a massive dust trap surely?

NotThisWeekSatan · 18/09/2021 07:54

Before I clicked on the link I thought I bet this is a house in Essex or Cheshire - bingo!

I also assumed the hand of Dawn Ward when I saw it Grin - or an identikit interior designer. It’s all a bit ‘one trick pony’ with the velvet and glass and those lion chairs!

SheWoreYellow · 18/09/2021 07:58

Why is it a thing to leave a throw in a mess on a bed? It’s really annoying me. Well, annoying me a very little, for a split second Grin

DominicRaabsTravelAgent · 18/09/2021 07:59

It seems to be a new build, hence the lack of any interesting things that personalise a home Smile

I assume @Bluntness100 favours this questionable interior style herself 😆

LynetteScavo · 18/09/2021 08:12

I think living in that house would make me feel a bit ill.

EasterIssland · 18/09/2021 08:20

What a weird shape. I can’t go from tbe kitchen in floor 1 (not sure why you need another one upstairs) to the main room? I’ve to go up and down the stairs ?

Juice bar on the ground floor. Every brightly coloured bottle of booze known to man in lower ground games room

It's a self contained flat above the garage for Staff. One needs Staff when you've got that many loos to clean, plus a petal wall to dust every day
EasterIssland · 18/09/2021 08:34

Thanks @WhereDoesThisToiletGoof course , how would the staff merge with them ! I don’t have staff so I couldn’t understand it.
