Need a name for my floristry business - help!

I would really, really appreciate any ideas - I’m taking a punt at starting a floristry business. Any potential business name ideas would be so welcome.

suggestion of Orchidaceous is brilliant!

Unless you're in the Black Country, in which case everybody will wonder what kind of a name 'Aceous' is for a person Also, the name derivation of orchid is literally 'testicle', so maybe a play on 'fantesticle' or something similar please don't do that An archaic name for an orchid was actually 'bollockwort' - a plant that looks like, erm, what it sounds like. If you want to relay the fact that people can rely on you to delight them, how about a slogan "Bollockwort? The ball's in our court!" ?!

I would never associate a pun name with an upmarket florist so think about your target market.

I like the simplicity of Flowers By Kate. But if you don't want to use your name, I would go for something like "Bud and Bloom".

I agree - puns do not suggest upmarket. The only other kind of name worth considering is one that might suggest something about your style. I'm thinking of Wild at Heart, Nikki Tibbles' business as an example.

Our florists sell not just flowers, but plants, wreaths, xmas stock and decorations. The word garden is a bit limiting IMO
