Yes we went to cornwall in May and just back from the Lake District.

Where will you be hopefully going on holiday next year?

Depending on finances (as we're hoping to move house) possibly Sri Lanka but more likely camping in the Lake District.

City or countryside?

The countryside is beautiful but as I age I feel that amenities such as shops, public transport, GP, hospital etc is important so I have to fudge this and say suburb - best of both worlds.

What can you see from your kitchen window?

Countryside, for sure!

Asda & M&S food hall as they are both local to us, weirdly we don’t have other supermarkets near us

What’s your goal for the future

My DH does the shopping and goes to every supermarket going as he loves cooking and one shop doesn't fulfill his needs. He loves a bargain and seems to remember the prices for individual items in every single one. Aldi and Lidl are his faves for bargains.

What makes a perfect day for you?

The weather! I am out in all weathers every day hiking. Rain is a nuisance!

If you woke up and everyone had vanished. No trace of people anywhere. Where would you head to?

I'd get in my car and go into central London. Would love to see it empty!

What is your favourite thing about the country you live in?

Its birdlife and old churches.

How old is the oldest towel in your household?

God knows 😂 definitely over a decade but it still looks good and is nice and fluffy 😄

Frozen. Unbelievable rubbish with unlikeable characters. Awful from start to finish.

Yes circa 1977 on a school trip! We went on the ferry there and a hovercraft back!

Which is your favourite supermarket?

Has to be Waitrose, however we don't really have a Waitrose budget. So we mix it up a bit and probably do a Waitrose shop about once a month.

Do you love your job?

I adore it, I run a therapeutic school. The first job in my life I haven’t hated!

What would be the first thing you’d do if you were suddenly absolved of all responsibility?

Hire a camper van and pootle around the coast, occasionally swimming in the sea, and drinking lots of lovely hot chocolate.

My oxo potato peeler is just the best
