Chips, although browned mash on top of cottage pie is amazing.

Have you been on holiday this year? Where did you go?

marmaladehound · 23/08/2021 09:23

Yes we went to cornwall in May and just back from the Lake District.

Where will you be hopefully going on holiday next year?

NotThatSocial · 23/08/2021 14:05

Depending on finances (as we're hoping to move house) possibly Sri Lanka but more likely camping in the Lake District.

City or countryside?

prettyteapotsplease · 23/08/2021 14:09

The countryside is beautiful but as I age I feel that amenities such as shops, public transport, GP, hospital etc is important so I have to fudge this and say suburb - best of both worlds.

What can you see from your kitchen window?

Ricekrispie22 · 23/08/2021 14:09

Countryside, for sure!

Which supermarket do you shop at and why?

Ricekrispie22 · 23/08/2021 14:10

Cross post! I can see the garden and fields beyond from my kitchen window.

Which supermarket do you shop at and why?

Dogmum40 · 23/08/2021 14:20

Asda & M&S food hall as they are both local to us, weirdly we don’t have other supermarkets near us

What’s your goal for the future

Battleofwhocouldcareless · 23/08/2021 14:22

My DH does the shopping and goes to every supermarket going as he loves cooking and one shop doesn't fulfill his needs. He loves a bargain and seems to remember the prices for individual items in every single one. Aldi and Lidl are his faves for bargains.

What makes a perfect day for you?

Galassia · 23/08/2021 15:23

The weather! I am out in all weathers every day hiking. Rain is a nuisance!

If you woke up and everyone had vanished. No trace of people anywhere. Where would you head to?

marmaladehound · 23/08/2021 15:27

I'd get in my car and go into central London. Would love to see it empty!

What is your favourite thing about the country you live in?

How old is the oldest towel in your household?

Houseofvelour · 23/08/2021 15:45

LynseyLoses · 23/08/2021 16:08

What is the most tiresome children's movie you have ever had to sit through and can you pinpoint why it was so bad?

Galassia · 23/08/2021 16:26

Frozen. Unbelievable rubbish with unlikeable characters. Awful from start to finish.

Which is your favourite supermarket?

NotThatSocial · 23/08/2021 18:01

Has to be Waitrose, however we don't really have a Waitrose budget. So we mix it up a bit and probably do a Waitrose shop about once a month.
