What food is like crack to you?

I recently discovered Halo ice cream and was delighted by how delicious it is whilst still being pretty low calorie. The problem is that it’s so delicious I can’t eat a normal portion size. I thought I’d give moderation another go tonight but nope, I’ve just eaten nearly a whole tub of Gooey Chocolate Brownie. Totally defeats the object. The peanut butter one is the worst (best).

Chicken skin. If I cook a roast chicken I end up eating the entire skin (minus what was eaten at the table) whilst stripping the carcass afterwards. I dip it in the leftover gravy and it is just so messy and delicious.

Pringles. Can never eat just a few.

Fresh bread. Any cream based pasta dish. I could eat either until I explode.

KateTheEighth · 19/08/2021 21:39

Wotsits (dh and I call them crack - "fancy some crack with your glass of wine?")

For me it's also the local farm shop bread with thick thick lurpak. I could live on that alone.

Blossomtoes · 19/08/2021 21:40

Fresh baked bread and butter with salt crystals.

@DukeOfEarlGrey

Oh no, I accidentally started an inspo thread.

I don’t even know what tiger bread is

Don’t bother with the Ocado offerings. You need to go to a supermarket with an in-store bakery. Get good butter. Prepare to eat the whole loaf.

co-op rice pudding but I can't buy it anymore as I always used to share it with my cat Bluebell and haven't been able to eat it since she died in February. It makes me cry.

Marks and spencers salted and sweet honey roasted cashews. I've managed to quit them for good, at last.

M & M’s salted caramel.
A friend raved about them, I shovel them in by the handful. The texture…..the crunch followed by the chewy sweetness then the hit of saltiness mmmmm.
I’m cursing that friend! Angry
