Running off in the woods with my friends, climbing trees and falling off them then walking the corner shop on our way home to stock up on penny sweets.

What habits and behaviours have you inherited from your parents?

OP posts:
Chocolatier9 · 10/08/2021 14:52

Daydreaming and. absent mindedness from my Dad.

From my mum, the solid belief that you never let the world see you cry and consequently an inability to cry even when alone and doing so would be a bit of a relief.

How well can you ice skate?

marmaladehound · 10/08/2021 14:54

I use to be able to get around albeit with a lot of wobbling! But it's been years since I've been so I guess I would be holding on for dear life now!

Galassia · 10/08/2021 14:56

Not very well at all! I can ski though.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/08/2021 15:11

Probably as gracefully as a 3-legged donkey.

Did you find any positives in (covid-related) lockdowns?

yes. I loved not having anything school related in terms of school runs, uniforms, packed lunches and some form of weekly nagging like mufti days, boom day etc. I hate all of that, it was amazing to have so much break from it.

I'm not asking a question as there are some unanswered ones still

HuntingoftheSnark · 10/08/2021 15:11

Coast. I miss the sea.

Which book character's life would you most like to live?

Would you/did you ever have botox? If so what did you think of it?

Galassia · 10/08/2021 16:41

I had Botox for well over a decade and then stopped having it a few years ago. It didn’t make me look younger or better just ever so slightly smug. It worked better in my 40s is what I mean!
