Running off in the woods with my friends, climbing trees and falling off them then walking the corner shop on our way home to stock up on penny sweets.

To what extent do you believe in 'woo'?

Not at all, I wish I could, but my mind refuses to let me.

Covid = flu.

What new hobby would you like to try?

Oh my goodness, so many. I’d love an A level in pure maths and to conquer crochet next.

Most beautiful bit of the UK in your opinion?

Oh blimey - so many choices! But I love the north coast of Cornwall.

Your worst holiday?

Mallorca. Awful.

Do you see images/faces in clouds, wood knots, tile patterns and wallpaper?

Yes I can always make out faces in clouds and shapes etc

What's the last thing you watched on Netflix?

I watched the karate kid with my daughter for a movie night last week.

Cheese or chocolate?

Cheese. I don’t have a sweet tooth.

Most definitely honey dew.

Are you an open book or do you keep a lot of things to yourself?

Pretty open, I'd say.

What habits and behaviours have you inherited from your parents?

Daydreaming and. absent mindedness from my Dad.

From my mum, the solid belief that you never let the world see you cry and consequently an inability to cry even when alone and doing so would be a bit of a relief.

How well can you ice skate?

I use to be able to get around albeit with a lot of wobbling! But it's been years since I've been so I guess I would be holding on for dear life now!

How many languages can you speak really well or fluently and what are they?

Not very well at all! I can ski though.

Do you do ‘old fashioned’ things with your children such as flower pressing, French knitting etc?

Probably as gracefully as a 3-legged donkey.

English and French.

yes. I loved not having anything school related in terms of school runs, uniforms, packed lunches and some form of weekly nagging like mufti days, boom day etc. I hate all of that, it was amazing to have so much break from it.

Which book character's life would you most like to live?

Most of the fiction I read I would never want to be anyone so I would choose Robyn Davidson from her book tracks where she travelled across Australia on camel.

What is your special meal/ dessert that you cook really well?

Cheese soufflé.

How did you choose your current username?

One of my bathrooms has fittings from a manufacturer called Galassia and I like the name!

What item of clothing that is no longer worn would you like to bring back into fashion?

I'd love to bring flares back into fashion :)

Would you/did you ever have botox? If so what did you think of it?

I had Botox for well over a decade and then stopped having it a few years ago. It didn’t make me look younger or better just ever so slightly smug. It worked better in my 40s is what I mean!

Under floor heating? Yes or no?

Never had Botox but in mid 40's and becoming more tempted!!

What are you looking forward to most?

My first whole week's holiday (this year) next week. Cannot wait. Not going anywhere really, just not working.
