What strange dislikes do you have, but you don’t know anyone else who feels the same?

I hate it when someone touches my knees 🙈

Feeling my pulse on my wrist with my thumb! With my fingers it’s fine but if I feel it with a thumb I can’t bear it.

I don't like food with seeds inside. I can't deal with it. If I buy a melon I have to steel myself to cut into it. When I see the seeds I shiver. It's the same with butternut squash...................

I don't like food or hair caught up in plugholes. I keep all mine clean.

I do not like seeing people with disgusting feet in sandals. Hard skin and toenails that are not cut revolt me, and I tend to look at the owner of said feet and wonder what else they do not look after.

Dirty fingernails also revolt me

Things being dusted with icing sugar.

It actually makes me feel angry.

Perfectly nice golden crust and some complete bastard fucks it up with overly sweet dust.

It looks shit and it tastes gross.

Being shown the insides of people's mouths inadvertently. Such as when they laugh loudly. I have to immediately look away.

Repetitive banging noises make me want to scream and/or cry.

I can't stand it when a dog or cat is laying with their paws folded under their leg, I have to go and straighten them out.

The banging and repetitive noise thing is misophonia, it's the pits. I literally vomit when I can hear a shovel hitting the pavement or road.

People eating slowly. I'd rather see someone eating like a pig and ramming food into their mouth!

Seeing someone else brush their teeth, yuck

Toothpaste. I have to read while I brush my teeth to take my mind off it

Feathers and teeth (not in someone’s mouth, but kids milk teeth etc)

Balloons used in cooking, to make chocolate cups etc. I had such an extreme reaction when I saw this recently that I think my family are now scared.

Wet wool or wet cotton wool makes me want to vomit 🤢

Don't like anyone playing with or touching my hair

The tails being left on prawns.

The absorbent layer under meat in plastic packaging. Feel sick just typing that 🤮

I hate putting my hand in a sink of cold water to pull the plug out. Have to get someone else to do it.

My middle dc HATES a warm loo seat. She always has to go first.

My ankle bones touching each other. Have to wear thick bed socks all year round to make sure they don't touch. Makes me feel sick just to think about it.

Going to the hairdressers. People were losing their minds over lockdown hair, i was happy that i had an excuse for unstyled, limp hsir with split ends. I cannot stand looking at myself in the mirror at the best of times, but having to make small talk with someone while they try to do something with my shit hair. Gives me anxiety.

Hate long grass tickling my legs while walking, have to always wear trousers when not on pavements to prevent it.

Have to pretty much meditate to get through it, have a wet cut to escape faster. It is easier now I take a book and refuse to speak.

Feet and wet floors especially swimming pool toilets. I think I'd rather wet myself than have to go into a toilet with bare feet 🤢🤮

People rubbing their eyes. I can't stand it.
The absolute worst is to do with teeth, and I can't type it, but it relates to a child's milk teeth.
