Why?

I don't mind a bit but I think my neighbours must hose their entire house down with it, when their back door is open the stink of fabric softener and air freshner is unbearable. I can't imagine what it must be like to actually be IN their house, you'd have a permanent headache and nausea surely?

No. Too strongly scented and yet more single use plastic which we dont need.

Never crossed my mind to. I live in the hardest of hard waters areas and don't think my clothes are scratchy. I do like a scratchy towel but it only lasts one use. Line-dried is best for towels, 3ven without conditioner the dryer makes them far too limp

I admit it, I love a good fabric softener, but I can't use it as scented anything is considered a hazard here. I use unscented dryer sheets now. I wish I could hang my laundry outside.

The scent issue is so huge here we were banned from using any scented products by work as some people really complain they react.

The other day my neighbour (a floor down and two over in a high rise building) phoned me and asked me if I was using scented dryer sheets at that very moment. Our dryers of course vent outside.

No, the wash was not on. It must be someone else.

We now have a sign in the lobby about it.

It’s a bullshit product. Why do you need to add some fake fragrance to apparently clean washing? Clean washing should just smell clean. And I certainly don’t want some dodgy ‘Moonflower and Ylsng Ylsng’ competing with my Chanel perfume when I get dressed. Ugh it’s a total non product and completely regressive eco-wise.

Yet you wear perfume 🤷‍♂️

Because I like it.
