I am totally out of ideas. Fucking bored bored bored of food and cooking it. What are you all having so I can copy your ideas?

Please no one mention take away. I would love to but budget won’t stretch!

i am making cheats sausage rolls. Wrap a normal sausage into Jus roll puff pastry and cook for about 20 minutes. With broccoli and mash and tinned sweetcorn.

No-one will eat it and everyone will complain.

Of course, the boys won't touch it, so DS2 is having chicken thighs and oven chips (he doesn't like the texture of breast) and DS1 is having his regulation sausage sandwiches and a bowl of grapes. Got to love asd for making my life simple.

Yep. ASD here too. Currently it is making my life difficult in many ways (mega meltdowns, screaming shit fits and usually all neatly timed for the rather more smug of yummy mummys to witness at the school gate)).

However, rather oddly Ds ordered (and ATE) moules and frites last weekend........ I nearly fell over.

Takeout today - DD convinced us it was a fair and reasonable celebration of having got through all her PPE's, and got good results.

Usual mid week dinner for us after a long day and school...tonight it's Smoked Salmon terrine with a Waldorf salad followed by rack of lamb with seasonal vegetables and potatoes and then for dessert a choice of fine chocolate mousse with cream or organic fruit salad with champagne.... I jest of course...if only 😭🤣...we be having fish fingers, chip's and beans, then a cuppa tea and some hob knobs 😁😁

(Vegan) bean cassoulet with a panko and non vegan smoked cheese topping along with fresh haddock and tomato’s baked in the oven.

Pasta with a jar of sauce because I too am fucking bored of cooking and DCs will eat it.

Food shop is coming this evening.

Baked salmon steaks, with little new potatoes and asparagus and tender sweet broccoli stems. And for the first time in about 15 years. I bought a pkt of orange jelly in the shop a while ago, so have made the jelly and put those mandarin orange segments in it., I never ever have desserts at all. so will be quite refreshing on this sunny evening.

We are having chicken and chorizo kebabs and some kofta kebabs (there was some lamb mince sitting in the fridge waiting to be used for something), then some spicy wedges a big greek salad and a Stromboli (I think that’s what it’s called?) bread with mozzarella tomato Basil and some Serrano ham, mainly all things needing using up in the fridge which is why it’s a random mish mash of things
We don’t meal plan - can you tell?!
