What’s the oddest street name you know?

I passed one in Edinburgh today, called Fair-A-Far Shot, which is quite unusual.

I also know of a small hamlet, not street, called Willie Stack’s Clump, which just makes me smile.

We used to have a shopping centre called the Butts Center but its name got changed.

Chemistry in Whitchurch, Shropshire

Carsick Hill in Sheffield is actually quite appropriate because it’s pretty steep and twisty.

There’s a Rightox Road not far from me, which always sounds like a chemical process.

We have a Bog Green and Moldgreen nearby.

I gather that Penny Hill Lane in rural Lincolnshire more often than not has the P changed to a B.

Dogpool Lane in Birmingham often has the L of dogpool whited out!

AC/DC street in Leganés, and Super Mario Bros in Zaragoza, both in Spain

Google 'Grope Cunt Lane' in oxford. Now renamed of course but an interesting history

There’s a fast, winding road near us called Kilcrash Lane, which sounds a bit like tempting fate!

South Yorkshire Police HQ moved to a new estate about 20 years ago. The new estate road it’s on is called Letsby Avenue. I understand it was deliberate.

Dog Leap Stairs in Newcastle u Tyne.

Full of imagery, but apparently named for being shaped like the back leg of a dog not noticed it myself the many times I’ve been up and down them.

We have Other road, thing is there's actually 2 of them as when they rebuilt the town it got sliced in half for the ring road, so very close to each other!
So not that other road, the other one, confusing for delivery drivers!
