Trying to book vaccine, error message!

Apologies if this has already been discussed at length in the coronavirus topic; I hid it ages ago and can’t remember my desktop login to unhide.

Anyway, I was very excited to see this morning that 42 year olds like me can finally have our vaccinations! Straight away I went online, armed with my NHS number to book, only to be met with an error code 9907 because the NHS can’t find my record to see which dose I need (not surprising as I haven’t had one yet) Confused I reported it to 119 as advised, and the person on the phone told me it’s a common problem and to try again in 24 hours. Has anyone else experienced this? I know it’s not the end of the world, but I’m anxious about side effects and just want to get on and have it so it’s out the way.

Hi all - update from me - NHS website continues to not let me book, went from error code 9907 to "you're not eligible" to "are you a social worker" and back to "you're not eligible".

In the end I got to the right place in the queue for the GP jab so had that instead.

119 did call my back in the meantime and left a message saying it can take up to 10 weeks for re-registration with the GP to filter though correctly onto the National system.

Thank you a lot! I was stuck with 9907 for a month, going by metro to my GP over and over and looking for any support possible. But your message gave the solid proof to what I was suspecting. I came to GP again today and asked them to write out for me the info of my registration, precisely how it is on the screen. Well, I still had my name misspelled by mistake, turned out it is correct on the screen, but had two mistakes on paper! =D That's what you get when you ask for precision. Anyway. I checked for all the possible spaces and zeroes in numbers and all. The date of birth looked the most suspicious, it was written in a format 24 4 81 (example, not actual date)! I came home, I tried entering it like this and I got a screen asking to provide the date correctly, as the "year should be four digit". I corrected it there into four digit and next thing I know I am proceeding with booking!

There are still things to be explained about how it works, but the most important thing seems to be what tinkiiev here says - matching exactly how your info looks in registration.

I thought I'd register and share my experience, as I was monitoring this page for weeks and eventually it helped me. Thank you and good luck!
