Still mummy at 8 & 10 although my 10 yo has different boundaries on embarrassment to usual and not of herd mentality.
I don't know ig they use mum when talking about me to others.

DD was around 9/10 when she started calling me Mum. Sometimes she'd still say Mummy but mostly it was Mum.

I’m trying to think when I started saying mum and dad and I’m assuming secondary. At the moment my child is eight and mummy is fine.

Both DC are teenagers now and I haven't been Mummy in years. I also hear "Bruh" more than Mum most days. Hmm
