Who do your DC look like?

Just that really! I’ve never thought our DC resembled either of us, DD looks a bit like SIL as a child but that’s about it, then DM showed me photos of me as a child and both DC look like me. Do any of your DC not resemble anyone in your family? Or are they the image of you?

I am assuming my child looks like the male or female donor who very kindly donated their eggs and sperm.

Ds is the image of his dad and has inherited his slight build. However he has my eyes, which I'm pleased about as I have a pic of my grandfather's family and clearly they are inherited from his mother, it feels like a nice link.
Dx2 is still cooking, but given me and dad, has no chance of being slight and almost every chance of being built like a wall Grin

My three dcs look like dh’s family
Dd1 is the spit of dsil to the point that dd1 is often mistaken for her daughter.
Dd2 looks like dh
Dd looks like dfil

Ha ha .After all my hard work and stretch marks and not one of my kids looks like me

When my oldest was born, she was the image of her father's side of the family. She's 24 now and in the last 10 or so years, her features have shifted towards the point where she's a blonde version of me at that age (sallow colouring and all...).

My youngest, when he was born, was the absolute spit of me as a baby. To the point where my own parents can see a baby photo of him - and assume it's me. By the time he was school age, he looked like his Dad. Now he's 16... he's the image of DB2 (who I don't get along with very well, for various - boring - reasons).

One of my cousins, with whom I share both sets of grandparents, has a daughter who is the spitting image of me as a child, though, so it's literally just quirks of DNA.
