Who do your DC look like?

Just that really! I’ve never thought our DC resembled either of us, DD looks a bit like SIL as a child but that’s about it, then DM showed me photos of me as a child and both DC look like me. Do any of your DC not resemble anyone in your family? Or are they the image of you?

6 Dc.... DC 1 spit of DH DC 2 spit of me. DC 3 spit of my DB DC 4 spit of me in coloring and DH in features DC 5 spit of DH DC 6 spit of DH but with my eyes. All different but also all quite alike.

I’ve always said to DH I’d like lots more DC so I could see all the different combinations we could make, although we’re done at 2!. It seems like your DH has very strong genes!

My eldest looks like my husband but my youngest is the younger me except she is blonde and I have always been a brunette. I stare at her for ages every day because I can't believe how much she looks like me. Haha

Neither of my children look anything like me or dh.

Ds 1 looks a bit like one of his cousins.

Youngest looks like a cross between me and dh's sister's child.

They’re all a mixture of both their parents.

When my first Ds1 was born he looked like a mini double of his dad now he's fully grown I think he looks more like me.

Ds2 reminds me of my mother but she doesn't look anything like me.

DD looks mostly like me but her eyes look like her dad.

Just my opinion but dd1 looks like me but has her dad’s skin tone (indian, so it can vary), dd2 looks like my dad and a bit like my sister too. Dd3 is like dh’s sister but she has my temperament.

Ds1.. Carbon copy of DH. You wouldn't think I had any input in creating him at all,
Ds2 ...spitting image of me. Can't see DH in him whatsoever!!

Ds1 looks like I did as a child. Ds2 looks like my cousin (dads sisters boy) - it's bizarre. He's the spitting image

Dd has my colouring and has my eyebrows and chin bit looks a lot like my mum when she was little. She has a cleft in her chin which she got from my grandad's brother, that always makes me smile as he never had kids of his own. My ds is the spitting image of his dad. We are expecting a 3rd and I can't wait to see who this one looks like.

My adopted daughter is a spitting image of my birth daughter when she was younger! 🤷‍♀️

DD1 looks like me
DD2 looks like her dad (we put their faces into a gender-swap app and it was uncanny!)
DD1 and DD2 look alike
(DH and I actually look quite alike)
DS doesn't really look like any of us, though he has my dad's colouring and similar mannerisms to his twin sister.

I think DS1 looks like my brother as a little boy and DS2 looks like BIL.

If you put them next to each other you can tell they are brothers but seperately they look like different ethnicities, DS1 looks more Italian and DS2 looks more Filipino.

DS, DD and 4 of our 5 DGC look like a mixture of me and DH.
The fifth DGC looks like his paternal uncle.
I look nothing like my parents more like maternal grandmother.
DH looks like his dad.

2 of mine look like each other, but no one else!!!

Both mine look exactly like me, but DD has my dark eyes/hair, DS has fair hair/blue eyes like DH. Both have the exact same features, but in different colour ways. Obvs, MIL thinks they look like DH/my SIL/the cousins.

My daughter looks just like me, and my sister, and my mum, and my granny. Very dominant female genes! It’s both lovely and a headfuck. My sister and I always get very confused when looking at childhood photos

My two DDs look so different, they don’t look like sisters.

Dd1 is the double of DH. The only think she has from me is the shape of her hands!

Dd2 is the double of me. Everyone comments on it. I often have to double check photos as I don’t know wether it is me or Dd in the photo.
Their personalities and characters are a good mix of dh and I, which is nice.

My sons both now look alike and very much like their dad from a description perspective.. Eye colour, skin tone, build, hair colour and type etc but my eldest has my facial features and my youngest looked so much like my DM features wise until about 6 that strangers would stop her to comment on it.

We assume their birth dads but have no photos. One we think we have photos of birth siblings but we aren't 100% sure as he wouldn't acknowledge her as his.

My eldest looks like me, one looks like my Grandma and the others look like their dads.

My DS is a mixture of my DF and my cousin who is the image of our DGF. Although some people say he looks like me and I'm a mix of both sides of the family especially my DGGM because I'm so small.

My ex and ALL his brothers looked exactly the same and the same as his DF.

My eldest bizarrely is the absolute spitting image of my first boyfriend from secondary school. A couple of years ago we moved back to my hometown and so many people have commented on it that it’s quite embarrassing. Apparently it’s an actual thing and previous sexual partners can imprint on a mother, meaning the child can look like a previous boyfriend.

Eldest daughter looks just like her father’s sister.
Youngest daughter is more like me but has some of her father’s sister’s features.

Their father and his sister are very similar in a male/female way.
