I was at Dd's house recently, she opened her freezer and a I could see was lots of little pink mouse tails.
She has a pet snake so they are for him.
I also once sat eating my lunch in Indonesia whilst watching some guys shoving a cow into the back of a bemo (minibus type thing but with no back doors)

Just remembered from growing up in an area with lots of Sealed Knot reenactors. Always used to see them in Tesco’s as they popped on their way home. Roundheads and Cavaliers mixing happily. You got used to it but it would have been bizarre for anyone who didn’t know where they came from!

Thanks for the replies about Morris dancing. I vaguely remember seeing something about it on TV programme, but I cannot remember the details. Also On a different prgramme about folk traditions in England about how women were excluded from joining but campaigners at end of 19th to 20th centuries started female Morrisses (if that is the correct term) against much opposition.

I’ve remembered another.

I was walking through a park in York a few years back when I saw something out of the corner of my eye, by my left elbow.

I had a proper look and jumped out of my skin as Bruce Forsyth loomed up at me.

Turned out it was a lifesize cardboard cut-out being carried by a couple of young student types, and they’d got a bit too close behind me. Didn’t half give me a turn.

This is one where both sides were surprised.
I had left work at lunchtime for a wedding in the forest of Bowland. I needed to get changed so I parked in a very isolated place and hid in a ditch behind a hedge. I stripped off.
Just then a man on a penny farthing came past on the track. He was surprised to see a naked woman and fell off the bike. I was equally surprised.

I was bowling along in my penny farthing when I saw a naked woman in a ditch...

Actually. We were driving up to a National park - all long a lovely road to the car park. We came around a corner and there was a winibago parked on the side (in a passing place) and a woman was squatting behind the vehicle, having a poo.

1 - don’t these things have toilets?
2 - why not take a poo in a bucket inside the vehicle?
3 - why not squat behind a bush?
4 - why poo at the back of the vehicle on a single track road (so right in front of oncoming traffic)?

The licence plate was french...

In the queue in Starbuck, waiting for my drink, and when I looked the young woman in the queue behind me had cum (or what looked like it!) all over her face. She calmly ordered, waited, collected drink and left. She was with another two people, who had cameras out, so perhaps it was some kind of dare? The Starbucks staff did not comment in any way.

On a first play date with a new friend from my new school, and she asked would I like to see her Mum's rabbit. Of course I was delighted! But it was not what I was expecting though :) We experimented with controls, settings, etc. I really had no idea what it was in reality. We still laugh about it today!

My mum lives in a very rural area. Her house is situated right next to a small lake. We were swimming one day and looked to see a very small elephant having a bath by the shore. It was so unexpected and surreal.

A wild turkey has a mad crush on mum. She goes outside to give it corn every day. One day we heard tapping on her sliding glass door. It was Mr.Turkey who apparently thought mum was a bit too late for his daily feed. I never realised how large turkeys are until one was standing before me.
