The best way to survive is to have a terminal brain tumour.
If you have a minor illness and make medium-term plans you're a goner.
Data protection, hmm what do those words mean?

But he doesn't have inflating lips?

If you lose a leg, it will grow back in a season or two.

Xigris · 23/03/2021 20:26

I’ve never watched Grey’s Anatomy (ER all the way) but just wanted to pop in and let you know that I work in a hospital and twins were conceived in our critical care on call room.

NOT MINE, NOTHING TO DO WITH ME.

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 20:27

Yes I spotted that in the last episode whe. She was in court :)

If you're a pregnant surgeon you'll give birth during a wedding or a natural disaster

@LividLiving

Oh come on. Jackson Avery is very very sexy.

And I could probably do a Whipple myself. Just put them in Trendelenburg first. Or something.

I feel like I could do a whipple but sense I'd be left looking after the 3D printer for months at a time,
Harrystylesismyjam · 23/03/2021 20:31

Have you had the episode where Jackson walks put of a burning ?bus? Shirtless. Because if not. That’ll be the turning point. You’ll see it then.

I have learned that I can meet patients, get engaged to them, nearly kill them, then keep my job and the whopping inheritance!

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 20:33

What see his expanding lips??

Having been an ER fan for many years I do now feel the need to watch Greys Anatomy after reading this. Next day off with kids at school I shall commence binging.

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 20:38

Your children will have left school, had a career and retired before you finish.
But it's worth it.

OP posts:
Harrystylesismyjam · 23/03/2021 20:43

Oh I thought you just didn’t see ‘it’. I agree. His lips are spectacular and in no need of change.

Trekkerbabe · 23/03/2021 20:44

What channel is Greys on?

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 20:44

Disney plus

OP posts:
Spillanelle · 23/03/2021 20:46

I’ve watched every series of Greys so I think that’s probably the equivalent of a medical degree right.

jerometheturnipking · 23/03/2021 20:50

It’s on Amazon Prime too. We’re on s11 and started watching in January. It’s been our evenings, although we did take a break over the weekend for Drive to Survive and LoD.

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 20:53

Its still on prime? So why have we switched to Disney??

OP posts:
ChristinaYang10 · 23/03/2021 20:57

I once diagnosed someone on casualty because they had the same (extremely rare) condition as someone on greys. It’s clearly a good tv illness. I think this basically makes me a qualified Dr.

Travis1 · 23/03/2021 21:02

Oh what I wouldn’t do for a Jackson/Linc sandwich 😬🤣

Littleelffriend · 23/03/2021 21:05

Yes to bring soooo drunk then doing surgery! Also, they all just seem to be able to decide when their maternity leave starts and ends without telling hr or management and can also swap jobs

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 21:07

Oh yes if another surgeon comes within 20miles of thay hospital you can guarantee they'll have a job for life* if they want it.

  • duration varies.

drumst1ck · 23/03/2021 21:08

Rewatching Grey's at the moment (for approximately the 100th time...) and I DEFINITELY get the Jackson Avery thing. Ooft.

Something I learnt is that you can break nearly every moral and ethical code and kill a few people but as long as you're hot then you'll probably still keep your job, don't worry.

StealthPolarBear · 23/03/2021 21:08

Yes. But if you happen to look up while performing a crash section... Be afraid

GlitchStitch · 23/03/2021 21:10

If you are a highly skilled and very intelligent doctor who never wants kids you will get accidentally knocked up at least twice.
If you are a main character you will automatically become the head of your department even if you've only just qualified.

MrsPatrickDempsey · 23/03/2021 21:14

Just visiting to see if anything is said about my husband......
