@suzy2b Those are the right numbers but you do the "x" first . So 2 + 1 + (1 x 7)

Multiplication signs so the order in which calculations are done will be significant (BODMAS/BIDMAS)

The definition of terms changes between the first three and the final rows:

• cookies in the top two rows have ten dots, the cookie in the last row has seven dots

• pairs of bananas versus single bananas

Mulitplication is done before addition so 2 + 1 + 1 x 7 actually means 2 + 1 + (1 x 7), which equals 10 not 28.
