Clock=2
Banana=1
Cookie=0.7
2+1+1+0.7= 4.7

Three cookies = 30 so one cookie = 10.

One cookie plus 2 bunches of 2 bananas = 14
So 2 bunches of 2 bananas = 4
So one bunch of 2 bananas = 2
So one banana = 1

Two lemons (?) plus one bunch of 2 bananas = 8
So two lemons = 6
so one lemon =3

The last bit is tricky as no brackets
It’s either
one lemon (3) plus one banana (1) plus one banana times ten (10) = 14
OR
one lemon (3) plus one banana (1) plus one banana (1) = 5 then multiply it all by ten = 50

Alwayswithalacrity · 20/03/2021 14:00

35 or 11🤪

fluffedup · 20/03/2021 14:01

oops just noticed on 7 raisins on the last cookie so do you multiply it all by 7 giving 35

summeriscomingsoon · 20/03/2021 14:02

@CKBJ

Clock=2 Banana=1 Cookie=0.7 2+1+1+0.7= 4.7
Confused

Changed my mind 28 or 10

Uronmute · 20/03/2021 14:02

I think 70

fluffedup · 20/03/2021 14:03

or is the lemon actually a clock and it's 2pm on the final one, three on the previous ones ...

so
one clock at 2pm (2) plus one banana (1) plus one banana (1) = 4 then multiply it all by 7 = 28

CatsHairEverywhere · 20/03/2021 14:03

70

Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/03/2021 14:04

I don't like chocolate chip cookies, so I threw it out
I ate the bananas while looking at the problem, so they don't count
I'm retired and we've been under a severe lockdown forever, so time doesn't matter

So, the answer is zero, null and void

BRILLIANT!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

elspethmcgillicudddy · 20/03/2021 14:04

Haven't read the full thread but my answer is 10.

  1. cookie chips 10 + 10 + 10 = 30
  2. 2 bananas plus 2 bananas plus 10 chips = 14
  3. 2 bananas plus 3pm plus 3pm = 8

2pm plus 1 banana plus ( 1 banana x 7 chips) = 10

24 definitely

IsolaPribby · 20/03/2021 14:04

I got 10 pretty much straight away, then someone mentioned that the clock is different in the bottom row, and that has thrown me.
Is the clock being at 2pm and not 3pm relevant?

CKBJ · 20/03/2021 14:05

Last go!
Clock =2/3 is 0.67 (1dp)
Banana= 1/2 is 0.5
Cookie= 7/10= 0.7

0.67+0.5+0.7= 1.87 (1dp)
