Does anybody actually like chocolate liqueurs?!

Or do I mean liqueur chocolates? I didn't even know they made these anymore until I found some in the cupboard earlier.

Having forgotten how much I always hated them, and being greedy desperate for a chocolate hit, I ate one. Or rather - I tried to! Bleurch!

Does anyone out there like them?

My favourite chocolates. I only buy them at Christmas though.

Yes, I like the Solidarnosc ones in Tesco, although the liqueur is on the harsh side - I kind of like the burn!

Not as good as Leonidas though.

The chocolate kisses my auntie brings from Krakow are the best I must find out the brand bur whoa they are lush

Cherry liqueurs are lovely! I bought a box of the old style liqueur chocolates for our intended family Christmas so they are still in the cupboard at the moment. I used to like the brandy ones in there but it's been years.

My mum loves them, I think they’re foul! Alcohol and chocolate do not go together IMO! And cherry and chocolate is 🤮 as a general!

I used to love chocolate liqueurs, alas I am now a vegan so that pleasure is now denied me.

I like them if they don't have that sugar crust on the inside. I'll have 'em.

Oh and when I was a kid I used to love Advocaat filled Côte d’Or chocolate that we got in Belgium!

M&S chocolate cherry liqueurs are rather splendid.

They are nice and so cheap!!

They are the only type of chocolate I do like! I could eat my weight in marzipan though...

I do. But only nice ones, of course! Cognac and whisky.👌

I think they're one of those things best kept as a memory, though. (can't eat any chocolate these days, tbh)

This thread has made me realise that I actually only like the idea of them but not the reality.

Oh my word I used to absolutely love the little bottle shaped ones sneaked as a child every Christmas. I always nibbled the top off carefully so I could swig the booze out then loved crunching the chocolate with the boozy sugar crystal bit. I bought some from the bargain bin in the garden centre after new year and they were vile, and had no crunchy sugar lining any more. I was so disappointed. Sadly I have no local squirrel either so they went in the bin

Bloody love them. Which is odd because I'm not especially keen on either chocolate or alcohol. Put them together and I can't get enough of them!

Horrid. I will however eat chocolate and wash it down with booze. I'll eat a whiskey or champagne truffle happily but liquid booze? No.

They're horrible. As other pps did, we used to think we were being rebels as kids when we used to bite the top of, drink the alcohol, then pretend we were drunk. But even as a child, they were too sweet. I remember really large boxes, so cheap, too.

Where did you get them? They're my favourites - used to get them in Italy but never saw them here!
