That is awful! I am absolutely fumming about the way people can loose their spelling and grammatical skills. It is quite discusting. Actually, bare with me and I will try to describe what I no about Chester Drawers!

ILoveShula · 15/03/2021 19:16

Is it hand teak?

Some people call it a shays lonzh. (chaise lounge)

VerityWibbleWobble · 15/03/2021 19:17

@TedMullins

I see your shezlon and raise you these bollnocklers
I don't even know what bollnocklers are supposed to be 😂
FlyingBurrito · 15/03/2021 19:18

@WorraLiberty

Someone in my local Facebook group was complaining about the neighbours in her 'Colder Sack'.

Took me a while to work out she meant cul-de-sac 😂😂

That's about the most obvious one so far I'd say, it sounds exactly as most people say it doesn't it?
TedMullins · 15/03/2021 19:18

Binoculars! Another Facebook gem

ILoveShula · 15/03/2021 19:19

Someone's asking for this thread to be zapped for mocking people's literacy.
Ooooh, how d'ya know?
Tonty · 15/03/2021 19:40

This is all funny but seriously, what is going wrong? are people just not reading anymore so the only time they come in contact with the word it is verbally? after all it's their language, English. It's not even their second language.

Tonty · 15/03/2021 19:44

just to add, even for lack of literacy's sake, you would still know that it's pronounced 'War-drobe', along with the 'could of', 'should of', surely..people know it's 'Should Have' unless they simply don't understand English? what does Should of mean Confused. I suppose one could forgive the 'shezlon' as it does sound like the word.
