Which singers CAN REALLY WOW sing?

Don't think he's been mentioned but Rag N Bone man always blows me away when I see him sing live on tv shows, haven't been lucky enough to see him live in person yet though.

I was going to say Rag N Bone Man too, amazing voice.

Also Hozier. And Amy Lee has an incredible voice.

I remember being in the car one day and they played a Matt Monroe song. Not someone I'd ever listen to but it sounded absolutely perfect. Proper rich, rounded tone. Just beautiful. And Perry Como was the same. George Michael is possibly the modern day equivalent or Tony Hadley.
Women- has to be Karen Carpenter. Her voice was flawless
Tina Turner was the best concert I've ever been too, closely followed by Savage Garden. Shame they split up not long after.

How would you measure something like that?

My first thought is that it's subjective (as with all the other singers mentioned on this thread)!

But having said that...

a) a good singer/musician can judge pitch accuracy

b) you can actually get pitch analysis software these days!

Is anyone watching the documentary on Joan Armatrading, on television now? She was and is awesome.

George Michael and all the biggies mentioned already. Also

Tony Hadley - saw him live. Fabulous rich voice!

Judith Durham from The Seekers. I once read that she had the purest of voices.

Kd Lang, Karen Carpenter and Ian Gillan

Oh and Lady Gaga, she can really sing.
And yes to the poster who said Leah Salonga - stunning vouce, effortless.

Eva Cassidy, different wow but so beautuful.

Justin Currie. Perfection.

Chris Cornell - beautiful voice

I know he's been mentioned already but Michael Jackson for me is the best performing artist of all time. The voice, the dance moves, his stage presence. I'm a huge fan anyway but yep he gives me goosebumps

Ahh totally! I love Corey Taylor's and David Drayman! Both amazing live! Wish I was could have seen Cornell perform live!!

Jessie j, went to see her live at some random event I wasn't interested but joined a friend.. her voice gave me goose bumps and made me cry..

Showing my age here, but Cilla Black as a young woman had an incredible voice.

Gloria Estefan had an amazing voice.
Also Adam Lambert - not sure if he's been mentioned yet.

Tori kelly has a really incredible voice
