Anyone else planning a 4 week blitz from tomorrow?! πŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ‘ŸπŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I live with my DH and have been working from home throughout. I don’t really leave the house apart from a walk to the park or the corner shop.

I haven’t seen my friends since last August and haven’t seen my family since last September.

Weirdly, I haven’t put on any weight in the past year, but I have a killer sweet tooth and my BMI is 29.9.

I’m planning to meet my parents for a walk in the park on the 29th March and then see my friends in April, so that gives me four weeks to blitz my diet and get some daily workouts in! πŸ’ͺ🏻

I’d love to lose half a stone. Anyone else?!

@CaptainCarp

OnlyFoolsnMothers that does sound amazing. That would probably give me motivation to get back on the indoor bike!

I'm planning on going to the cafe by my parents once we are able. They probably do things like this along with candyfloss topped milkshakes & American waffles... & great cakes. should stop daydreaming

I managed to get in 2.3miles on my lunch break. Hitting my 5000 step target. Going to try for 6000 by end of today.

Have snacked on some belvita biscuits today... Need to find something to prepare for the afternoon "slump".

I dread to think how much I’ll devour at this cafe when I can sit in with a friend and matter away!

I can't seem to break the evening snacking at all. Craving chocolate like crazy. Gradually demolishing any leftovers & thankfully can resist the selection boxes as I labelled them (in my head) as "DSCs" how or whoever they came from.

I am mainly hitting & going over my step count & getting in a walk most days so a blitz on moving my butt! Also started doing some stretching after realising I can no longer easily touch my toes.

Thank you all πŸ€— how many steps are you all trying to hit daily? Do you cover most of them in a swift power walk?

My initial aim is to get to 5000 steps a day. I can hit that with a 2 mile walk & just general moving around the house.

I aim to try for 6000 steps or to start cycling next week. I am currently walking pretty much as far as I can in my lunch break at 2 miles so I've either got to get up early (unlikely) or go for another walk in the evening to get the 6K.

I hit 6K today but I did have to go shopping this evening so parked a bit of a way down the car park (every little helps).

Honestly I am not sure how people do 10-15K steps daily!

This is what I struggle with πŸ˜‚ I’m single parent now with 13,9 and 5 year old. We do do a fair bit of walking but the 5 year old, the dog... and work.. slow me right down πŸ˜‚

I’m seriously impressed at those who get huge amounts of steps in. Will have to start getting creative

So how is everyone's blitz going... Mine not so great. Had some "bad" dinners of bung in oven predone foods & then snacking in the evening.

Curbed the snacking a little by doing random exercises in front of the TV.
Been for a walk all but 1 day last week & hit 5K steps most days.

Ive upped my target to 6000 steps a day this week which involved lots of on the spot walking in front of the TV this evening.
Also not so much snacking at all today.
