I live with my DH and have been working from home throughout. I don’t really leave the house apart from a walk to the park or the corner shop.

I haven’t seen my friends since last August and haven’t seen my family since last September.

Weirdly, I haven’t put on any weight in the past year, but I have a killer sweet tooth and my BMI is 29.9.

I’m planning to meet my parents for a walk in the park on the 29th March and then see my friends in April, so that gives me four weeks to blitz my diet and get some daily workouts in! πŸ’ͺ🏻

I’d love to lose half a stone. Anyone else?!

Yes please.... started by a long walk yesterday and a pinch of nom meal..
Don't want to follow a diet as I get bored. Tried them all. Also did clean eating last year which made me so miserable...
So I'm
Cutting back and upping my steps.
I'd be happy with 2 stone by summer. Already lost 5lb last week and wasn't really strict so fingers crossed.
We can do this

Me. I've put on so much since Christmas, terrible weather and all I wanted to do was eat and drink.

I've upped my exercise, reducing carbs and doing 16:8 so only eating between noon and 8pm - all this really means for me is not eating till lunch, skipping breakfast and my usual mid-morning snack, which probably means 500kcal less a day. That should hopefully be enough to shift a bit over a month.

I'm going back to the office on 29th & I don't think I can get into my work trousers at the moment!

I've struggled to motivate myself to get out during the cold dark days although it's been better since the sun reappeared. Also I "had" to eat all the Christmas chocolate.

My current aim is 5000 steps a day with 10, 000 steps at least 1 day on the weekend.
After today I plan to have no more takeaways in March. We are having our last tonight as a birthday treat not just for weight loss but also as a push to spend less this month.

I can't run at the moment because I'm too fat & my knees can't take it (old injuries). So I'm going to try & walk everyday.

Weighed myself yesterday: 14st 6lbs

Well I started intermittent fasting today, by skipping breakfast. Swapped my usual tea, to green tea which I have without sugar and no milk. Upped my water, and have managed to avoid the temptations of the biscuit and snacks cupboard. Feel pretty good. For lunch I had an omelette with spinach. Dinner today will be baked chicken with veggies -peppers, broccoli, and whatever else I need to use up.
Hoping I can stay away from the fridge after dinner

I'm trying to not eat except between 12 and 8.

I've had 2 wholemeal pittas with salad and a bit of hummus plus a banana for lunch.

Going out to do 10,000 steps now but my area is very flat, so doesn't burn many calories.

Will eat grilled chicken and a pile of veg when I get back in later. If I'm still hungry then I can have grapes or an apple. Thinking I might go to bed early to avoid hunger pangs.

I have just started cutting down. I have some slimfast shakes and a small amount of Jane Plan - just to try it but find it a bit tasteless though the soups are nice and the channa dhal is nice too. However I do not understand why the fish pie has mash and rice! Sure a veg should do instead of the rice! I weigh around 15 st so have 5-6 stones to lose. It would certainly help my joints!

I manged to have a nice chicken wrap for lunch and fajitas for dinner. Ruined it with biscuits for a snack and a riband bar Blush
I did manage to get out for a short walk tho tonight!

I had 2 flavoured pork chops with half a head of broccoli for lunch. Got a sugar pang about an hour later so had a home made banana muffin.

Then stuffed myself with Chinese takeaway πŸ˜‚
I twisted my knee on the weekend which is still twinging so didn't even go out for a walk. Only half of my daily step goal in all.

Tomorrow is another day.

So yesterday started the 16:8 again, 10am - 6pm. Although I didn't exactly skip breakfast! Bowl of Cheerios at 11am, 1 slice of whole meal with avocado at 1pm and a bowl of pasta & home made Tom sauce at 5pm. Was that tempted to hit the biscuit tin at 7pm I went to bed with the kids to stop myself. 30mins of hiit. at 9.30am. Feeling much less bloated today as all I did all weekend was raid the kitchen.

Are we going to do a weigh in? I'd be up for it if anyone else is..

How's everyone doing today?

I went for a 2 mile walk at lunch & therefore nearly hit my step target. My garmin watch automatically ups it a little each time I hit a previous day's so I'm going to try & get as close to it as possible but will definitely do 5000.

Eating is still not great as I had leftover pizza which DC said they didn't like for lunch & having Chinese leftovers for tea!

Not been very active at work though so gonna take my dogs for a walk later.
Trying to drink more water but my pelvic floor isn't what it used to beSmile

Good day for me- managed to fit in a 40min instagram
Exercise session- despite interruptions from a teething 4 month old- and a 45 min walk.
Food ok so far but the evenings are the hardest when breastfeeding and the biscuits are calling!

I’m in, starting Monday when DDgoes back to school. I’m 21 weeks pregnant so I know weight loss is unlikely at this stage, but I’m keen to walk more, do some prenatal YouTube workouts and cut back on the chocolate.

My plan is 10k steps a day (averaged over the week, as tend to do more at weekends.

No booze and no junk food.

Only eat between 12 pm and 8 pm.

Surely this lot will make me lose a few pounds!

I’ve had a good day food wise - a small portion of leftover slimming word recipe chicken curry and rice for lunch, and salmon fillet and salad for dinner. Downfall was a pack of digestives that appeared at work just in a quiet moment. I’ve only done 9k steps today and would normally be stuck to the sofa one DD goes to bed. Catching up on the thread has motivated me to try and reach my 10k target.

Just started my second lot of the fast 800 so 12 weeks for me. Day 2 and I have a headache and all I can think about is food and how hungry I am. I know it will pass but I am contemplating just keeping a hold of this last 2 stone πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ.

Well. Today was good ish. Started at my new job so adrenaline kept me going on just one coffee at 6am until lunch. Which was a packet latte as noone seems to drink coffee. πŸ™„πŸ€” so had a few sips of that but no time.for a proper break. Someone then emptied it down the sink 😭 so after getting a caffeine withdrawal headache I bought a red bull. Blush i have literally walked in just now and stuffed five praline biscuits down my throat, along with a coffee that didnt hit the sides! Oops. Tired so gonna a head to bed. Think this will be my fast day haha!

I had a hungry day yesterday! My whole afternoon was spent thinking about food. I then ate an entire lindt bunny after dinner...

Did better food wise today no chocolate snacking!
Barely made it over 1K steps today though as I didn't go out got my daily walk as my knees needed a bit of a rest.

This is hard now, trying to diet amid 4 month sleep regression of my youngest and midnight screaming from my eldest. Having said that yesterday I was able to complete a weight session from instagram and still haven’t reached for a chocolate or jumped in my car for a biscoff coffee from the local cafe.
Feel like today will test me- I want a packet of Oreos!!!!

That would definitely have to be incorporated into a weekend walk for me.

No snacking so far today & hoping to get another 2 miles in at lunchtime. Not sure what we have for tea though... Meal planning is definitely on the agenda for tomorrow.

CaptainCarp it’s my addiction of choice- a latte type coffee with biscoff spread dissolved in, whipped cream on top and crumbled biscoff biscuit on top- served with a brownie on the side and I’m in heaven...... #crying!

OnlyFoolsnMothers that does sound amazing. That would probably give me motivation to get back on the indoor bike!

I'm planning on going to the cafe by my parents once we are able. They probably do things like this along with candyfloss topped milkshakes & American waffles... & great cakes. should stop daydreaming

I managed to get in 2.3miles on my lunch break. Hitting my 5000 step target. Going to try for 6000 by end of today.

Have snacked on some belvita biscuits today... Need to find something to prepare for the afternoon "slump".
