This is a continuation of previous threads as I will be posting some more scenes of the Playmobil pandemic over forthcoming days and the previous thread is almost full.

This is great SoMuch! Hope you’re having a lovely Mother’s Day and you are being showered with treats by DS.

SoMuchToBits · 14/03/2021 16:11

Thank you all! Yes, ds is home and it was nice to have Mother's Day off this year (I was working last year). Ds bought me a lovely card and a kitchen utensil (which may not sound very exciting, but it was a specific one I wanted, so I was very pleased with it). He cooked me bacon and eggs for lunch, then took me out for a short drive this afternoon for a walk and a takeaway beverage (which we were able to enjoy on a bench!). This evening we are getting an Indian takeaway, so it has been a pretty good day! Smile

Love Playmo Mothers’ Day!

NoGoodPunsLeft · 14/03/2021 17:39

Sounds like a lovely mothers day in Playmoland and the real world Smile

SoMuchToBits · 14/03/2021 19:37

Thank you! I hope everyone noticed this was a new house interior (the exterior may feature later in the year) which was my recent construction project (with Norm).

And also I took great care to ensure the bunch of flowers and the necklace went with Bronwen's outfit. Wink

I thought the house looked rather fancy!

SoMuchToBits · 14/03/2021 23:15

Ah, we've been after that house for a while, but it recently reappeared in the direct service catalogue and was then 25% off. Who could resist? Grin

Working tomorrow, will maybe post some time later in the week. Smile

The new house is great, SoMuch - you should do rightmove-style estate agent listings for all the Playmo properties: 'Desirable 4-bed detatched on revered [yes, I really saw that!] tree-lined avenue', that kind of thing!

Haha, I like that idea! 😆
SoMuchToBits · 15/03/2021 20:08

I quite like the idea of estate agent listings. I'm not sure Playmobil do an estate agents though... Grin

Hmm, the Playmobil newsletter informs me that tomorrow there will be a 25% off St Patrick's Day event... Wink

OP posts:
AvengingGerbil · 16/03/2021 11:00

There's a newsletter!!! How do we sign up?

SoMuchToBits · 16/03/2021 11:39

At the bottom of this page, there's a button that says "Subscribe newsletter".

www.playmobil.co.uk/Home-Show

I usually find the newsletter goes in my spam folder, but I check it regularly. It's useful for finding out when there are special offers on!

OP posts:
LIZS · 17/03/2021 10:38

Just got the newsletter (never had the heart to unsubscribe) 25% off everything?!

SoMuchToBits · 17/03/2021 16:55

Everything with a few exceptions (Funpark items, bundles where you are already saving money etc). I may have made some purchases... wink]

SoMuchToBits · 17/03/2021 22:28

I have also bagged a couple of second hand bargains on eBay today. Result! Smile

The Playmo people will be happy.

@SoMuchToBits you are such a quiet genius. Thank you Smile

SoMuchToBits · 17/03/2021 22:47

Ah, thanks Marie!

Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a friend for a walk and a permitted flask of Brew on a bench!

In the afternoon I may extend my recent house (bought the extension sets so why not?).

Working Friday so won't be posting any more scenes until at least the weekend. Hope everyone is well and the Playmo people send their regards, Smile

Hoping to see you soon SoMuch. My aunt is moving into a care home tomorrow so I will have more flexibility for meeting. Need to check current rules though ....

SoMuchToBits · 18/03/2021 00:02

Yay!! Think the restriction from staying local is from 29th March, so hopefully we can meet after that. Smile

OP posts:
SoMuchToBits · 18/03/2021 00:06

Hope your aunt gets on well in the care home too petal. Smile Can't wait to see you!

Bloodybridget · 18/03/2021 01:39

@SoMuchToBits I've just caught up, really enjoyed your recent scenes, thank you! Glad you had a good time on Mother's Day!

Does Playmoland have a similar roadmap for ending restrictions as England? Is the hotel taking bookings for late May? (I have just booked two nights away for me and DP !!)

NoGoodPunsLeft · 18/03/2021 06:22

Waiting a few days for the new scenes will give us something to look forward to Grin

SoMuchToBits · 18/03/2021 08:36

Thank you! In Playmoland they have a plan for lifting restrictions. But Norman wouldn't call it a roadmap, as to him that's something that tells you where roads are so that you know how to get somewhere in a vehicle or on foot...

So it's entirely possible that the hotel may be used for leisure purposes soon. I also have some other new leisure sets which I bought a few months ago which will hopefully be put to good use this summer. Smile
