I like to look at maps

I'm not sure why, find it calming..are there any things you like to do which seem a bit boring but you strangely enjoy? Or is it just me...

Some of them are on a scale of 1 inch to 1 mile.

I love maps too. When I go on holiday or somewhere new I always look it up on Google maps and street view first to see where hotels are, the surroundings, bus stops and nearest shops.

For anyone who isn't aware, full OS mapping is one of the options on bing.com. The link takes you to the standard map page, hover over the 'Road' icon at top right and OS shows as an option.

I have still got a map my grandparents took on their honeymoon in Devon and Cornwall in the late 1920s. My grandfather had marked the route on it.

I love looking at maps and satellite images of the really remote atolls dotted about the world. I even have a favourite - Kingman Reef I won't ever be able to, but my dream is to stand on it one day.

I love maps!!!!! Especially large scale

I am a teacher and sometimes supervise lunchtime conputer rooms where the DC can hang out and do what they like. So many of them love zooming into maps of random places -terrific fun!
