Been with DP 14 years now. He isn't DS dad; I had to kick that one out, was not good partner (or father) material.

I had a holiday romance in Italy though, when I was inter-railing late 80s. With a young man called Paolo who lived near Bergamont. He was sweet.

Morning all. No I left Tuscany for another rubbish boyfriend. Not a cheater, just rubbish! I’ve had a long line of rubbish boyfriends over the years. You guys sound like you had much better judgment earlier!

I’d love to go back to Tuscany too. I must be getting old - I want to revisit some of the places that I lived abroad when I was younger. I’m hoping that will be a plus side of not flying anymore- when I was flying I just wanted to be home on my time off. So we never really did holidays. My husband and stepson got their travel fix by coming on trips with me if I was going somewhere nice.

Needtoknow, could the first one be sam cooke? I don't know the song from your lyrics, just guessing from your clue.

And didn't one of the supremes die last week? I know a lot of their stuff but by no means all, and I don't think I know that song. (If it is the supremes, which it may not be)

And - dammit - I don't recognise the third one at all. Which is soooo annoying because I want to know your romantic story

Living in Tuscany sounds amazing Honeyroar. I think it's only when you look back you realise how fantastic some of those times were!
I got married in 98

Babooshka i bet your wedding was amazing. One of the nicest weddings I went to was in Italy while I was living there. My best friend and I (the one who died last year) plaited the local carpenter’s horse up and put flowers all over its mane and tail, then the carpenter drove her to a vineyard where they got married. Then they had a huge buffet and a fiddler band all night. It was gorgeous. It’s 30 years ago, yet stays in my memory more than any other wedding.

My cheating ex is still with the woman he ran off with, so it was probably worth it. He wasn’t right for me.

This was back in the day from Italy. We did a photo shoot for an Italian horsey magazine at a few gorgeous old Italian villas.
