No shiny I haven’t heard from her for two years. She was obviously very secretive about where she was going. And someone else on Mumsnet recognised her and tried to warn her husband. She changed her number and left Mumsnet. It was all very sad. The dog was a nervous wreck at first, I think he’d got in between them and been battered a few times. He used to bark at all men. Nowadays he just barks at the odd one, and they’re always about 5’10 and bald, so I think the husband probably looked like that.

Thats so sad for her, honey. But so gorgeous and lucky that there was you.

My old dog (dead now, and cute only to me) was a rescue who had been badly treated. She used to bark scared/aggressive to boys in late teens or hoodie wearers

Hopefully she is back on her feet again and leading a new life with her children . Maybe she even pops in to MN from time to time and would be relieved to know that her animals were happy and settled . So good you were able to help
