With anyone right now....what would you be doing?

I’d be sitting on a beach, in the sun, with my granddaughter, eating ice cream and building sandcastles.
I miss her cuddles, her laugh and her love of everything new. She’s the funniest 2 year old I’ve even known (I’m biased, I know!)
I just love her love of everything and I miss her so, so, so much.

And it’s the best time of year for fossil hunting too which is very upsetting!

Tucked up in bed in our camper van, wild camping next to a lake, listening to the dog snoring - after a long walk, a good dinner and some wine

Beach Cornwall, fire, seafood on the bbq

In my parents house in Ireland, with a glass of wine in my hand and a cat on my lap, with my mom cuddling my 10 week old and my 2 year old asleep after a day of playing on their land in the countryside in her wellies. That's all I want.

I'd be at work with my company on tour. Or on a business class flight, on the way to said tour. Performing each night, then going out for a lovely meal together and post-concert drinks. I'm thinking Japan. Or somewhere else in Asia. Those were the days...

Under the trees in a town in mid France with my OH and my children running around with the local kids. Sun shining and a french live singer. Plate of chips and a cuppa.

With DP, both of us quite fit and well, in Rye or maybe Lyme Regis, pottering around shops and cafes, anticipating a delicious restaurant meal.

I’d be sitting on the beach in Punta Mita, Mexico, scanning the horizon for whales, eating fish tacos and sipping something delicious through a straw. Just me and DH.

Sitting in the sun in my parents garden. I’d be there to collect my children from a sleepover. Their little bags would be packed and their teddies sitting on top, loving placed in the hall, the way my mum does every sleepover. The garden would be strewn with toys and there’d be copious mugs of tea on the table. Sandwiches too- my dad makes a cracking sandwich!

Not spent any time with them for almost a year now. God, we miss them so much!

Quite happy here, in bed watching films on my laptop with a cup of tea :)

Though I wish someone could wave a magic wand and do my face mask for me then bring me breakfast in bed.

Not long now? I finish at 7(ish). I would be enjoying a day off. Probably shopping and then a pub lunch. I got my vaccine this week. I have hope this is not forever.

Backstreet bar in Tokyo with sudden ability to speak Japanese. Alternately, in bed with the one who got away.

In a pub, with a huge group of friends. A little bit pissed, with live band that we’re singing along to badly with some terrible dancing.

I want to get a kebab on the way home at 2am and wake up the next day with a hang over

I'd be in my parents house listening to one of my dad's totally embellished tales.
He died very suddenly on Thursday and has left a huge hole in our family.
His stories were legendary, so entertaining.

I’d like to be at a live music event, outdoor, some warm maybe Balearic night, dancing for hours with strangers and great pills. Everything makes sense and we’re all connected.
