My lottery win house

ArseWipesLemonade · 08/01/2021 22:11

I often browse houses on Rightmove for when I win the lottery but have never found one I really like. I have fallen in love with this one so I thought I'd share. It's not close enough to the beach for my liking though, so I'd probably have to buy a penthouse in Brighton for weekends. www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/77767582#/

Nice house, but if I won £21 million I think I'd decide to move out of London. After all, with that sort of money I could afford the helicopter and the chauffeur-driven luxury car if I really need to get into London.
BraeburnPlace · 09/01/2021 12:29

This would be mine, maybe as a second home..and near the beach.

@princessbear80

I love this one: www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/property-72382461.html

But being fussy... there’s not enough parking Grin

This looks like my local Housing Association offices! From the outside of course.

So much glass. How would you get any privacy?

YepCuntyIsTaken · 09/01/2021 13:45

This would be a lovely home but the pool
Kind of puts me off. I guess I could afford to pay someone to look after it.

The pool makes that for me! But of course I am stipulating that my lottery win is enough for me to pay for a pool maintenance person, cleaners and a gardener.

WhyDoesItAlwaysRainMe · 09/01/2021 14:07

Oh wow...just looked around my small semi detached house and feel quite depressed now 😩

Byllis · 09/01/2021 15:19

I like Soutiner's Newport house best of all of these.

I decided a while ago that if I win the lottery I'd be moving to Strand on the Green. This would do me: www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/87150599#/

Usually I'm not keen when people post links but that, is gorgeous.

Potential I think. I'll put the kids in the highly rated grammar school, saving the private school fees for some decoration.

( oh wait...how much was my lottery win...I can decorate too!)

Love this one but it would be a bugger to heat. Also I want a pool.

They'd need to leave all their stuff because I can tell it's great taste but I couldn't recreate it.

Although are we assuming we'd have designers at our beck and call?

Worriedandabitscared · 09/01/2021 15:28

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who browses right move for lottery houses 😂

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/01/2021 15:37

Not just RightMove. I spend lots of time on here...

Because we're lottery winners with private jets, right?

Horehound · 09/01/2021 15:40

Ooft I love it.

This looks like it's falling apart, Mossy and damp! Would bet the home report is full of 2's and 3's.
No thanks. Not for me!

I wonder whose leather jacket that is hanging up in the stairwell. Must be someone famous
HensInTheSkirtingBoard · 09/01/2021 15:55

Oh that Blandford Forum one is stunning! And the one with the library [swoon]

Loushome · 09/01/2021 16:25

@Shelvesoutofbooks

You know the area?

Byllis · 09/01/2021 18:09

@Horehound I don't like to admit you may be right, but I had a look on Rightmove at houses in the area in summer in preparation for my big win and the others I had my eye on have been snapped up since then. However, I'll assume that my fantasy budget will stretch to the necessary works.

I might even have enough left over to haggle for some of the furniture, which I agree is rather delightful.

JMAngel1 · 09/01/2021 19:26

I just came across this beauty - shucks, it's under offer otherwise I would be so ringing up on Monday Grin

@JMAngel1

That’s the one from the recent TV drama with Anna Friel in. Can’t remember what it was called...

Good choice OP

JMAngel1 · 09/01/2021 20:13

ooh don't think I've seen that - off to google!
