My lottery win house

ArseWipesLemonade · 08/01/2021 22:11

I often browse houses on Rightmove for when I win the lottery but have never found one I really like. I have fallen in love with this one so I thought I'd share. It's not close enough to the beach for my liking though, so I'd probably have to buy a penthouse in Brighton for weekends. www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/77767582#/

@ArseWipesLemonade you can't live somewhere called Pricketts Hatch! Everyone will snigger when you tell them your address!

Robbybobtail · 08/01/2021 22:56

Yes I live near it mnah and sometimes walk past it - you can just see it from the road. Didn’t know it was for sale though- I think it must be discreetly for sale! I’ve never been inside though - I love the use of colour - someone with great style lives there obviously!

switchitup99 · 08/01/2021 23:13

One of these has already been taken down by the agent Grin

MN all pile in and their hits go crazy. Poor estate agent - probably woke them up late on a Friday

@Bunchuo - that's the best one yet!

missmeg3leg · 08/01/2021 23:23

Oh yes, I'd have that one too. Very nice! Love the pool and the woods and bluebells and stream...needs a bit of decor updating but the house itself is gorgeous.

buttonsand · 08/01/2021 23:42

Why do rich people have no personality? All the rooms look like they are in a £60 a night bnb in some of these houses!

Cantdoitallperfectly · 08/01/2021 23:45

Oh my god @mnahmnah that house is AMAZING!!!

littlealexhorne · 08/01/2021 23:54

The house itself isn't entirely to my tastes, but I agree that little boat is very charming

MargeryMcLatchie · 09/01/2021 00:00

I think I'll take this one on the Lizard in Cornwall. Plenty of space for friends and family to come and stay in those letting barns.

MiddleClassProblem · 09/01/2021 00:00

@ArseWipesLemonade lovely house! The boat seems to just be in a large pond though...

Msfoxy17 · 09/01/2021 00:03

I'm with Bunchup. Absolutely beautiful house and location!

Justmuddlingalong · 09/01/2021 00:08

My "we've won the lottery" house is under offer. I hope the new owners' will be as happy there as I would have been. 😭

DishingOutDone · 09/01/2021 00:13

@bunchup - is that a wooden bath?!

Lovely house shelvesoutofbooks but that cupboard in the kitchen would cause me anxiety. Should I store something in the 'nibbles' drawer or is it a 'treat'? The 'cookies' drawer is the same size as the 'carbs' and 'veggies' drawers, which doesn't give out the greatest healthy eating message. I would also classify cookies as 'treats' and 'carbs'. And what happens if one member of the family misfiles something in the wrong drawer?

Now I appreciate some of the the dilemmas you face when you can afford a £4m house Grin

Arobase · 09/01/2021 00:36

I'm racing Bunchup to the Dartmoor property. I've always had a hankering for a house with a stream running through the garden, always assuming there's no flood risk.

Bloodybridget · 09/01/2021 00:56

@missmeg3leg I love yours. What would you do with it? If I had it for a week, I'd invite all my extended family and DP's for a house party (post pandemic of course).

InTheSnow · 09/01/2021 02:07

This one will do me very nicely

I looked at this one but I am not sure about the neighbours

That's perfect @Bunchup isn't it!
Well balanced in that valley with just the right amount of land and facilities.

There used to be a little sweet shop on the corner in the centre of Lustleigh. Wonder if it is still there.

My lottery house is less than a million!

www.7thheavenproperties.com/real-estate/nicaragua/granada-historical-home-for-sale-3-bedroom/

Gorgeous. And rum, hammocks and cigars with the rest of the cash.

Kissthepastrychef · 09/01/2021 03:33

This

Not perfect but plenty of space for what I'd want to do (involves large abd expensive horsey things and an outdoor pool

Kissthepastrychef · 09/01/2021 03:39

I also love this

This one is for sale around the corner from my house. It would need updating, but I'd take it for the view and the wine cellar. Smile
