We’ve been there done that with the clapping. I’m sure all the frontline workers would much prefer for Covid to fuck off and for everyone to concentrate on doing their bit to help that to happen.

I personally liked seeing all the rainbows in people’s windows. It was a nice project for children to do so maybe that could get going again. But at the same time the kids might be fed up with that for a game of laughs of course.

No thanks, had enough of enduring the racket made by the virtue signalling hypocrites on my street the first time around.

I keep misreading this as 'The Clap'.

But yikes no to either, I quite liked it last year earlier as it was a sign of solidarity. But then was purposeless thereafter. I got stuck in a strange place during first lockdown so liked having a clap and feeling connected with the place but feel like been there, done that, NHS workers don't like it and let's stop all this talk of heroes and get on with the restrictions. They won't last forever.

Dear God NO! And I'm an NHS clinician and have been working flat out for months but the thing most likely to tip me over the edge right now would be if the bloody clap started again!

Something else too, stop stripping the fucking shelves in the shops, 3 shops today.
I'm still breadless. Not the end of the world, but I have had to nick a few bog rolls from work because there was none of that either.
Great that some shops have reinstated the NHS/key worker hour, but tbh I'd rather stand in a queue and actually have what I need available than by pass the queue and there's sod all left anyway.

No way. Critical workers are getting on with doing their jobs like they have done all along. The government need to get everyone vaccinated and not fuck it up and get children back to school asap.
As an nhs worker and parent that's what would help me, not a fucking clap.
