Watched willow again recently and remembered writing in my diary (aged 12 or 13) about how much I loved mad mortigan (val kilmer). He's not aged well though.

I still remember the MH passport photo that was printed in Smash Hits back in the day. Hope for ugly duckling teens the world over. If a kid this plain can find his style and end up like the Morten we remember then there was hope for all of us.

@Dogand2boys They are attractive men, but I would say not beautiful in the same way as MH or John Taylor.

I think most of the people here are late 40s/50s and are talking about men that they thought were gorgeous when they were young (and hopefully still are), so they tend to be more 'pretty boys' because that's what 15 year olds like.

Weirdly Idris is both too young (he was a child in the 80s as well)and too old, in that he was well into his 30s before most of us were aware of him. I have no idea how attractive he was when he was 23 (I couldn't find any photos of young Idris), but I'm pretty sure no 13 year olds were staring adoringly at his poster on their bedroom wall.

Me neither. Watched Point Break the other night and commented on how Keanu was so much more attractive.

I think also Patrick Swayze was a few years older than most of the others mentioned, so already in his 30s in the early/mid 80s and too old to appeal to young girls.
