He just is though! Flicked over to the greatest 80s songs programme and was reminded anew how perfect he was/is!

@Sparklingbrook

Although MH was ok looking, he cannot be the most beautiful man in the world because-

a) Rob Lowe
b) John Taylor

YES
Bloodypunkrockers · 01/01/2021 00:47

Gorgeous man but I would only want to look at him as he doesn't say much

Saw aha a couple of years ago and he looked amazing although Mags did all the audience interaction

Nick Hayward was another one. My first real hot fancy

MrsBobBlackadder · 01/01/2021 00:47

@Rockbird

Don't google Nuno Bettencourt now. I'm still traumatised. He was beautiful.
If I couldn't have Morten then Nuno would be a fine substitute. He has aged beautifully 😍

Thankyou for bringing that Rob Lowe picture into my life.
Happy new year indeed. Grin

Just off to watch Pretty In Pink RIGHT NOW..., “ what about prom, Blain, what about PROM” 🤷‍♀️😭

itstrue · 01/01/2021 00:54

I saw A-ha play live in March. They were amazing and Mortern is still as gorgeous as ever!!

Oooh, I loved him. Away to google him as an older man.

SaintGutFree · 01/01/2021 01:00

Judd Nelson was so fucking sexy in St Elmo's Fire

SaintGutFree · 01/01/2021 01:02

Actually no he wasn't, he was (problematically) in The Breakfast Club, he was semi sexy in St Elmo's but ultimately a douche (as they all were)

@bettyshotspot I saw extreme live in 1992. I was 15 and totally obsessed with Gary Cherone. I liked Nuno too but Gary was my biggest teenage crush ever. The day I saw them was the most exciting thing ever. I wish I could bring those days, when I look back it is all so intense and vivid, unlike my life now .

domesticslattern · 01/01/2021 01:05

May I also offer up for consideration Kiefer Sutherland in Lost Boys. What a film.

ImnotCarolineHirons · 01/01/2021 01:07

I've been known to watch clips of the Norwegian Voice (which I obviously don't understand a blinking word) just to be able to gaze upon the ageing magnificently Morten sitting thoughtfully in his chair. Swoon.

Awrite · 01/01/2021 01:08

@DrCoconut - I also saw Extreme in 1992. I was 16. Nuno for me. You are so right about the intensity of rock concerts in your teens. It really was living, wasn't it?

DrCoconut · 01/01/2021 01:10

It was.

DENMAN03 · 01/01/2021 01:15

I saw A-ha in concert last year and had tickets for this November which had been postponed until May. He is just gorgeous!!

TyneTeas · 01/01/2021 01:18

Oooh : (

Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. Haven't watched them in years, great films except iirc both end up with young women changing themselves to suit a bloke and seeing their choices as limited between bloke a or b

SaintGutFree · 01/01/2021 01:29

CHRIST MY EYES!! On TOTP and watching Robson and Jerome - awful! (Knowing full well as a soldier soldier fan, I loved them at the time Blush)

@TomorrowIsAnotherDae

Showing my age here, but when I was 5 yrs old I watched jailhouse rock and decided with some certainty that I would marry Elvis...
He was such a beautiful man. I don't get the Morten love, his eyes are too small and squinty. Sorry! As for a youngTony Hadley, yes please.

Surely it has to be David Sylvian.

@Firepitnights

My very first concert was to see A-ha back in the 80’s. At the time I was working in a hotel and the following day I took a room service order to a suite. The door was opened and there was the whole band. Yes - great cheek bones!!!! Definitely!!!
Wasn't the Henry VII was it? They were staying there before doing Mike Reid's Saturday morning show and I was running the bar.
MintChocAddict · 01/01/2021 01:39

It was always Mags for me (and funnily enough Howard Donald of all the TT boys) I obviously had an eye for the ones who would age well Wink

CrystalTits · 01/01/2021 01:44

This already gets my vote for thread of the year ;)
