Love this thread! Taking up as much space as Morten on my walls (and in my teen heart) was Paul Young. He has aged like a fine wine. I so would.

Breakfast Club was my fav movie of the time but I didn't find any of the boys particularly attractive, however I had a massive girl crush on Molly Ringwald.

My first love, i was 7 the first time I saw the video for take on me and my sister bought me the single for Christmas that year. We were supposed to see them in concert in November last year but postponed til May this year... 5th row from the front, I can't wait!

Oh yanbu! I loved him more than anyone else did 🤣 I went to an A-ha concert in about 1987 and screamed so loud I gave myself a banging headache and lost my voice for about a week. He is still beautiful.

I occasionally play their music on YouTube now and it's sooo nostalgic. Hunting high and low! Oh my days. I loved the whole Scoundrel Days album too but there were some super weird songs on that. Pal wrote the lyrics IIRC.

I agree. Even though I am a gay woman I have always loved Mr H 😂 I was sooo excited when he presented the Eurovision Song Contest a few years ago. I remember going to see A-ha at the Royal Albert Hall in about 1985 on New Years Eve and I got really irate as I wanted to hear the band and all these girls around me were screaming there heads off and fainting 😳. I even went to the hairdressers with a photo of him and had my hair cut to look like him 😍
