I'm test ready and had my driving test moved from 1st Dec to 22 Feb due to covid.Fair enough.Now had an email saying examiner not available and its been moved to 3rd week in April

Anyone else got any reasons why today can fuck off?

I had one too many glasses of wine last night, I really need a coffee and the milk has gone off.

Ooooh my day just improved slightly. My Vax carpet washer is 'Out for Delivery'. Could have lovely fresh carpets by this evening. If it works.

i had to scrape snow off my car and that is never a good start to the day!

Hardly any sleep last night
WFH has people working odd hours sending emails at inappropriate times & expecting answers
Pissing down rain since yesterday

Meeting over, I am crawling back into bed and telling this day to F off.

My mum is going through her second facial cancer this year and isnt doing well and me, (who gets all of her shopping and pescription etc) and my family are going for a drive thru test at 3.30 today so Im having to self isolate. My brother cant deal with vomitting so I guess hes going to have to get used to it.

DH still hasn't been able to get a job and I should get my rota through today for my second job. Everyone around me is doing Christmas shopping and I can't afford to buy one bastarding thing! I've been scouring the buy and sell pages for free things that I can pass off as Christmas presents for a 1 year old. I usually love Christmas but honestly this year Christmas could fuck off and I wouldn't be mad.

My aunt has had an accident and my mum was poised to go down to visit her, but is now having to isolate as she's woken up with a fever. This means I have to isolate as I saw my mum yesterday.
Can't get a hold of DH, so currently worrying about picking my children up from school today. At least it's the weekend.
My aunt is going to be really pissed off though.

I hope that this doesn't come of as patronising, because it totally isnt meant to be, but people aren't joking when they say kids prefer the box the toy came in. It's true.

I'm sorry to hear you're struggling though.

Failing that you could do what I do and go out xmas eve and grab whatevers left on the shelves and try to work out who fits each gift.

Ive given up on amazon. Its all going to come after xmas at this point anyway.

My car has failed its MOT just on the rear fog light not working but it's not the bulb, it's electrical, so there's more faffing around to be done before I get it back.

Something horrible happened at work, the weather's crap and I've got stomach cramps.

@Doublebubblebubble it doesn't at all and I absolutely know he won't give a hoot what he gets really. He's not long turned 1 and friends and family gave us loads of lovely toys and clothes. It's more a pressure I feel in myself that I can't get him things if that makes sense? I've set expectations with friends and family that it'd be easier if we didn't exchange gifts this year so I don't have many people I'd like to buy for. Just my mum really and we have some lovely photos that were taken (using a voucher she gave us) so I'll pop one of them in a frame for her. It's just the time of year when being skint is that much more depressing haha. We'll get through though, we always do.

turkey don't fret about presents for a 1 year old. Wrap a box up instead

@Mylittleturkeysandwich i know what you mean. When ive been skint ive done similarly. Photos printed out at jessops for 5p and put into a "nice" frame from poundland.

I texted everyone in august saying "btw were only buying for children this year" so for me - thats 5 altogether, including my 2.

I might do something in January if there are january sales

I've got a period related migraine and a long term illness and just want to go to bed but I can't because I'm in a new job with a big team to support.

I've also found out that one of my team is likely on drugs, and I need to think how to support and manage him.

Rowed with my unreasonable ‘d’p, because he was angry that he had to wait 4mins for me to finish making my lunch and wouldn’t stop making mine so he could use the small space, because his time is obviously so much more important. He was so enraged he threw the laundry basket down the stairs as he stomped off. We both have high powered/pressured jobs, neither had a meeting to dash to.
The dog is doing the barking/sulking thing because she wants a walk but she hates the rain. It is raining.
TTC going nowhere but each time we fight I am glad as I don’t know that I want to be tied to this guy.
My crazy hoarding elderly mother is in the spare room. She has boxes of mouldy soaps I need to sort through secretly and chuck later but I just don’t want to do it on my Friday night.

'D'H went out and got himself a KFC. didn't 'think' to get me one.

This is the woman who takes his lunch up for him every bastard day (he's WFH) . Does EVERY night feed and has done continually for 5 months.

Today can fuck off cause I've had 3 hours sleep and I am with KFC
