Van Jones had me weeping. Bless him.

@imjustwingingitdontchaknow

Great news!

I read yesterday that Trump would 'refuse to leave' the white house.

So what happens if he does that?

Will he be forcibly removed? Now that would make for some fun watching

On the 20th January if he has not left, he will be trespassing on the President's residence.

I don't think trespassers are treated as well in the USA as they are in the UK...

KittCat · 07/11/2020 17:12

Thank fuck for that!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

RedToothBrush · 07/11/2020 17:12
Biden wins

Agreed about the upcoming Senate elections , fingers crossed that Trump does so much damage to the Republican image before he goes that the seats turn blue. Possibly not but we all need some level of hope at this time.

At the very least , imagine how much worse it would be if Trump had won!

Boris will have to work harder with Biden around trade deals and won't get the best deal but with Trump he could have changed his mind on the flip of a coin. I'll take settled and abided by agreements over Trump's tendency to have a hissy fit and ignore treaties and trade deals when he feels like it.

Cecilia2016 · 07/11/2020 17:13

Thank god

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/11/2020 17:14

@OddBoots

I am pleased but I hear this causes problems with Brexit but I am not sure what that will actually mean.
Yes this is what I said to dh. If only we could get our yellow haired one out....
Serin · 07/11/2020 17:14

Congratulations Mr Biden.
To quote The Killers;
"He talks like a gentleman".

MaxNormal · 07/11/2020 17:15

I think it will force Johnson and co to actually agree a deal, they can't afford to crash us out now as Biden won't back us. To my mind it's good news, it's only the Brexit headbangers who will be upset.

MarjorytheTrashHeap · 07/11/2020 17:15

I am pleased but I hear this causes problems with Brexit but I am not sure what that will actually mean.

It only causes problems for those who wanted a no-deal Brexit, egged on by the prospect of a US trade deal with Trump and his chlorinated chickens. US-UK trade deal will be well down the list of Biden's priorities.

Now we will be more likely rush through some sort of deal with the EU at least, although probably not a particularly favourable one.

Dumakey · 07/11/2020 17:15

Awesome news Wine

VettiyaIruken · 07/11/2020 17:16

Thank fuck!

Prepare for the epic tantrum.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 07/11/2020 17:17

I don’t know why people are so excited. One pervert was swapped for another, possibly a worse one. From 2:30 it gets really uncomfortable.

SpeedofaSloth · 07/11/2020 17:17
Wine
Mrsjayy · 07/11/2020 17:18

I think Nigel (the king of Europe) Farage was hoping for a special envoy job to broker deals on trade if trump won.

marveloustimeruiningeverything · 07/11/2020 17:18

Fantastic news.

Topseyt · 07/11/2020 17:18

Fantastic! 😃

Trump is finally out, thankfully. Although I can't see him going quietly. His team have already said that he doesn't plan to concede. That means he does plan to act like a massive arse right up until the very last minute. No surprises there then. 🙄

Nat6999 · 07/11/2020 17:19

Could trump please take Boris with him & the world would be a much nicer place.

MarshaBradyo · 07/11/2020 17:19

I’m so bloody relieved and happy

Ilovemypantry · 07/11/2020 17:20

Wait for the Orange One to start throwing his toys out of his pram 😂

Bitbusyattheminute · 07/11/2020 17:21

That video is by Breitbart, the massively right wing publication. Friend of mine has just sent it to me cos I said Trump is worse than Biden. I'm pretty sure there's some fancy editing, but not sure.

BadgerBadgerMushroom · 07/11/2020 17:21

Trump's team are already out spouting vileness and calls of mail fraud. I'm so pleased that Biden has been declared but I don't think Trump will go quietly.

Radiatornoise · 07/11/2020 17:21

I am pleased but I hear this causes problems with Brexit but I am not sure what that will actually mean.

Obama told the conservatives that they would deal with Europe as a priority, not the U.K. we currently have a special relationship with the US as the U.K. is the gateway to Europe (in trade terms). Once the U.K. leaves the Eau then the USA will have no real need for us. I hope the ERG are shttng their pants.

[/quote] I don't care who got voted in, as long as they got the raving megalomaniac out.
FecktheBoss · 07/11/2020 17:21

Not sure if this is right but I heard that if Trump steps down, then Pence will become President and in return he can pardon Trump so that he cant be prosecuted for things like tax evasion etc. I reckon he might do this.
