I could do with one in view of today's likely announcement!

We're having venison bulgogi with rice, and stirfried asian greens tonight. . .

We had mussels and chips - trying to desperately re-live happy holidays in france - hopefully we will be there next year!!

Italian sliders

I opted for mac cheese with bacon and sweetcorn instead because I remembered I had square sausage and black pud in the freezer but it needs defrosted first so that's out defrosting for a big fry up tomorrow.

We had homemade sourdough pizza with potato wedges followed by chocolate & pumpkin brownies.

In Wales, so lockdown storecupboard dinner... Frozen breaded chicken escalopes topped with mozzarella and parmesan on top of tomato spaghetti

Tonight will be the turkey chilli we ignored yesterday, together with brown rice and tomatoes (would be salad, but no other salad veg in the house, and I'm not going to the shops until I absolutely have to).

Yesterday we had chilli dogs, tinned hot dog sausages covered in chilli and topped with fried onions and cheese. With hot chocolate with whipped cream and Halloween haribo in the cream and cornflake cakes. We always eat like this on Halloween and bonfire night.

Tonight it’s a roast dinner with actual vegetables after that junkfood extravaganza.

Fish and chips last night.

Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels tonight due to roast chicken for lunch.

We had an Indian last night.
Today
Bacon/egg on toasted muffins at 10am
Homemade cottage pie with extra carrots, peas, broccoli and cabbage about 3-4pm

Pudding will be during the Strictly result show, morello cherry bakewell tart (Iceland 🤗) with cream (or maybe custard).

Oooh, I really fancy square sausage in a morning roll right now.

Tonight pasta with chicken, garlic, leeks, strong cheese spread and chicken stock

We're in lockdown in Wales so last night night treated ourselves to a chippy tea, with delivery from a chippy we hadn't tried before. It was lovely so we'll be using them again soon.

Today is roast lamb with roast potatoes and loads of veg.

I know fish curry isn't everyone's cup of tea, but cooking it with tangy tomatoes and some potatoes to bulk it out a bit is chef's kiss
The trick is to cook the tomatoes in the sauce before adding the fish, so it's tangy in advance 😊

Lasagna

I'm having nothing as I'm here on my own. Can never be bothered having anything when my husband is working the afternoon/ evening shift and won't get home until possibly 11pm. Most days he is working until finish we don't have anything

I do my food shop every Sunday, got to the Tesco carpark today and thought 'fuck that' and turned straight round.

We have enough freezer stuff to last us a few days, so I'll go and shop once we've locked down I think, and tonight we will order crispy duck as a weekend treat!

A very slow cooked beef rendang with rice, it smells wonderful

Spinach gnocchi with arrabiata sauce and cheese. Stick to the ribs, warming stuff!

Lamb shanks, roast potatoes and veg.

Today is: roast chicken & gravy, pigs, stuffing, balsamic roasted sprouts, honey roasted carrot & parsnips, roasties and corn on the cob.

Sausages, chips and cauliflower cheese, maybe with beans 😀

Chicken and asparagus pie (not homemade), peas and mash. There were no vegan pies or similar in Sainsburys today, so DH is having some kind of vegan sausage burger instead.

Roast chicken. With roast potatoes and pumpkin. Broccoli and carrots

Marmalade-glazed gammon, roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, cauliflower cheese and peas.

Need to get on and start cooking it.
