I could do with one in view of today's likely announcement!

We're having venison bulgogi with rice, and stirfried asian greens tonight. . .

I have veggie bacon needs used up so browsing for ideas.

Torn between

fry up for dinner (I've eggs which need used too, tattie scones, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes in)

Or

Mac cheese with bacon through it

Or

Bacon sandwiches for laziness

Or

omelette or frittata type deal

Or

giant cous cous (risotto style) with bacon added

What do you guys think?

Vegetable stir fry. Can’t decide between rice and noodles... I like cous cous with mine as alternative to rice and noodles great when you want a really speedy option

Vegetarian haggis, neeps and tatties with peppercorn sauce. sounds yum

Bacon sandwiches, without a doubt. I want one!

TroysMammy · 31/10/2020 19:25

I've made faggots and ate them with potatoes, mushy peas and gravy.

mbosnz · 31/10/2020 19:27

Fry up!

DS8's choice:

Korean BBQ chicken wings
Lamb and potato curry
Sundae

Lozz22 · 31/10/2020 19:36

Slow cooked gammon in cola with a honey and mustard glaze and cloves dotted in, celeriac chips and red cabbage. Was lovely until I bit into a clove I forgot to take out and half my tongue went numb 🤣

Crosspatchy · 31/10/2020 19:39

Just an omelette this evening after cocktails, a lovely meal and a night at a hotel yesterday. I am so glad we got to go as I had been looking forward to it for ages.

dementedma · 31/10/2020 19:41

Pie and oven chips

MrsMouse03 · 31/10/2020 19:43

Being lazy tonight so just eat delivery of KFC Grin

Smile3 · 31/10/2020 19:44

No one else have hotdogs??? Or is that just a bonfire thing... Nice hotdogs with onions tomato ketchup and mustard.

MyNameForToday1980 · 31/10/2020 19:46

Jacket potatoes, sausages and beans, as we have had every Halloween for the last 9 years.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 31/10/2020 19:50

We had all sorts tonight! We had samosas, spring rolls, brie bites, cauliflower bites, corn dogs, onion bhajis, bubble & squeak bites...

After that we had mini chocolate eclairs, then some gingerbread men that I baked earlier today that we made a mess of decorated before eating and finally we toasted some marshmallows over the gas cooker!

WhenTheDragonsCame · 31/10/2020 20:23

Chicken enchiladas, my DDs new favourite.

Tomorrow we are having homemade lasagne with garlic bread.

EarlGreyJenny · 31/10/2020 20:26

Haggis, neeps and tatties. Perfect shitty weather food.

Homemade meatballs, tomato sauce and pasta. Yum!

InsaneProbably · 31/10/2020 20:34

We just ate some sweets. Then felt unwell, so ate a piece of bread. Not much of a dinner. There was turkey chilli defrosted in the fridge and all.

Ihatesandwiches · 31/10/2020 20:35

Very boring, gammon boiled potatoes and carrots. DP wanted 'meat and 2 veg'!

Jouleigh · 31/10/2020 20:36

Kids had spaghetti with red sauce and sausage fingers poking out. Followed by jelly with eyeballs (lychee) and brain cake (white fondant and red gel colouring).

We are having asparagus and long stemmed broccoli linguini with butter and Parmesan. It's my favourite!

WhoKnowsWhatsAroundTheCorner · 31/10/2020 20:41

Paella- scallops, prawns and mussels
Lots of food allergies/ likes/ dislikes - but everyone can eat this.., easy cooking tonight

Pepperwand · 31/10/2020 21:00

We had minted lamb pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy washed down with a very large glass of malbec. I needed comfort tonight and it did the trick.

Bloodybridget · 31/10/2020 21:05

We were meant to be having slow cooked beef short ribs, but I hadn't read the recipe properly, and when I started work on it I realised it wouldn't be done till nearly 10pm! So I got it in the oven and then made us a prawn and veg stir fry with noodles, we'll have the ribs on Monday!

Deadringer · 31/10/2020 21:07

Bangers and mash, same as every other Halloween night.

AdoraBell · 31/10/2020 21:09

Bacon, fried eggs and tinned tomato.
