Remember the Friday night drunk thread?

It used to be every Friday night on here - without fail. What the heck happened?

I've got a bottle of red open, and my DH is going to be late, picking up DS on his way back, so no one but me and the dog here.

His conversational skills are lacking...

I miss the Friday drunk thread tooooooo.... Halfway down a bottle of sauv blanc after pork chops for dinner. Need some cheese soon to make up for the boiled potatoes and sweetcorn - DH's favourite meal ever - please don't ask!

I have secret stashes of chocolate and snacksGrin
The veg box in the fridge currently sticks Lindor Chocs.
DH would not appreciate them. He just inhales chocolate. Heathen. I make him eat Milky Ways.

Black Russian - what memories! I thought I was so sophisticated drinking a BR!

Good memories of the FNDT too - glad it's back. 2/3 of way through a bottle of Chardonnay (not as sophisticated these days 😄)

Iamtruly sorry, but boiled potato and sweetcorn???? I appreciate I am pished..... But even so....this needs some explanation!

I'm way ahead of all of you. I got pissed at lunchtime, passed out on the sofa, came round with a banging headache and am now just about sober and on the tea. I also ate a whole 6 pack of crisps and half a pack of chocolate hob nobs so I feel slightly sick.

After a very long week at home with my two boys (5 and 16 months) they're asleep and I'm on the sofa under a blanket with copious amounts of red wine. Intending to make some progress on my book, but I might end up just perusing the Internet. 🤷‍♀️

Sherry is delicious. Also very easy to “make”. Which is how I’ve finished it and moved on to G&T.

Ah but Black Russians bring back happy memories of our graduation party in 2001.

i recently hid crisps in a big pot with lid.
but admittedly am having to get more creative in lockdown as everyone everywhere....
